Nowhere

"What are you doing here?" Dora asked. Daphnee gave her a sicking smile, with nothing further.

"Nobody said anything about not attending war, son." The king answered chillingly. He turned around and looked at his wife, "Would you do me the honor, honey?" He asked her, she smiled then gave him a courtesy. He snatched something from his pockets. She gladly took it from him.

When she uncovered the thing in her hand, my mind, soul, brain, heart and every other organ in my body stopped functioning. I felt like I was light-headed and dizzy. But this was no time to be dizzy for!

Keeping my composure straight and my chin straighter, I looked her in the eye and met her gaze. The king clapped his hand then uttered two words that broke me and shook me to my core. Ten, twenty, thirty, I lost count of them. But they came rushing out from behind him, from Demonia's position. They ran at us before we could even think. "Hold them," Was all he said.

They rushed forward and cuffed Dora, Ashley, Decklan, and me. Every other Angel that took a step towards us, they would slaughter him, and kill him in front of my bare eyes. I felt the tears fall again, all I ever do is cause them harm. one after they would die then the next. It didn't stop, they didn't stop.

They didn't stop that their commander told them not to take any step further, they were going to end if we continue like that. "Get the girl." The king ordered.

I was confused as to who is this girl, the guy moved closer towards me, and the more he got the more I was a goner. My heart stopped beating -- or maybe it was beating so fast I couldn't feel it. He was standing right in front of me, he violently yanked me up from my hair, I screamed in protest and in pain, my roots were getting out of place which hurts like hell. I told myself to be strong, for me and for them.

The devil threw me in front of his king like I'm trash, and that's honestly how I felt. My pride got the best of me and I settled my gaze inside the Devils eye. He had the same shade as his son, but how could a monster like him raise a child as pure and soft as Dylan?

"Daphnee." He called out, she was already behind him, she took the sword that he extended to her and stood in front of me with a sweet smile on her face, I wouldn't have fallen to that if I didn't know better. The shooters on the roof were too far away from us, and I'm sure that both my father and Andrew are held by them by now, or maybe -- god forbid -- even dead.

This time, for the first time today I didn't cry, I deserved the pain. Every single moment of it. I deserved to be pained alone, nobody deserved it as much as I did.

I just didn't want to die.

When she raised the sword up in the sky I closed my eyes, silently praying for forgiveness for all the sins I've committed, my heart ached and I waited for the pain to hit me and take me away from this world. But it never came -- that or it was happening slowly, very slowly in that case.

I heard the sound of metal clicking on the ground, opening my eyes I found a pair of black wings in front of me. The left one had the sword wrapped inside it, he held it in his hands when he unexpectedly turned around and penetrated it inside the guy's gut that was behind me, it happened so fast that when the other guards and the royal family comprehend what has just happened he was already dead, and fell on the ground. I was free now, no one holding me from behind. The other guards made a move but their king stopped them.
