"Who is here?"
I asked the first thing once I entered the room; they were all huddled in the middle of the living room talking intensely in hushed whispers.
But nothing compares to the look of pure shock mixed with fear swirling in the eyes of Dylan and his cousin.
My voice snapped all of their attention to me, I noted how Ashley cringed-it must be really bad in that case. I took their silence as a sign to walk over to them.
Plopping down next to Dylan, I looked at him for further elaboration, I was about to ask him about it seeing that he wasn't giving any when he opened his mouth, which immediately shut me up at once.
"Whilst you were asleep-or whatever you were doing-we went with Decklan over to his former house because he wanted to bring something," He paused taking a breather, "So we all went with him, but unlike them I did not wait outside. Decklan was upstairs when I heard noises." He narrated, looking at me in the eye.
"Noises?" I asked.
He nodded, "Yeah, after we checked, we saw someone inside...." He trailed off, but Decklan took the hook after him.
"Someone we all hate." He dropped off.
"Even those who don't know her," Dora interfered with a look of pure disgusted etched on her face.
The word her certainly caught my attention. So it's a her, my inner self spoke. My mind went to Daphnee on the spot. I mean isn't she responsible for all the black magic after all? Plus, it's her former house, it's not that surprising if they found her there.
"Who is she?" I asked in general, my curiosity peaking up even though I was certain it's Daphnee.
"The hold hag..." Dylan trailed off absentmindedly from beside me; I looked at him and noticed that he was already lost in his own world, he was staring at the window but I knew that he wasn't really concentrating on the beauty of what lay beneath the glass, but was lost in other thoughts-thoughts that only concerned him. The lights from the window casted a shadow down on him making his non-angelic features rise. He looked good, nonetheless.
At one glance you would never doubt for a second that he is an Angel, but I knew better. Because I know that, me myself, the Angel princess, I'm not an Angel anymore. I have been thinking about it enough in the last fortnight.
My black wings say it all. As much as I would hate to admit it, I'm turning into Daphnee more and more by day. I even escaped in the same place she did-under different circumstances, that is.
Speaking of Daphnee, I snapped out of my usual trance and looked at the demon sitting on my left. "Old hag who?" I asked, not sure if she is Daphnee or not, I don't want to just spread false rumor in my head and start imagining non-existence arguments in my mind that don't-- and will never -- exist.
"You don't remember her?" Decklan said surprised. "How could you forget such a nightmare!"
I shook my head, and so did the twins, Andrew was the only lost puppy in here, since he's the only one who didn't visit--more like crash in-- Demonia.
Truth be told, he's the only one that kept his appearance at bay. The only one who didn't disguise into some opposite camouflage. He's the only Angel that stayed an Angel.
