-Meanwhile in Angelina-
The sounds kept getting louder and louder, it was getting out of hand. Andrew came into the room minutes ago wondering if he's the only one imaging things or not.
But then he saw Dora sitting at the chair beside me and bawling her eyes out, so we proceeded to tell him what went down in Demonia. What happened after that is a blur, but right now we were headed to my father's office to warn him about the upcoming war.
We knocked on his door, before he could tell us to enter I was already inside and by his desk.
He looked up from the paper he was reading, shifting his gaze from me to my friends to my brother then lingering a little at Dora with confusion. He met my gaze, "What's wrong?" Worry was clearly swirling in his eyes.
"A lot."
The confusion etched on his face increased even more, he motioned for us to sit down, so we did. He nodded at me to continue talking, but I looked at Dora and gave the gave her the sign to do the talking herself.
"Decklan was pronounced crown prince yesterday much to grandma's dismay, she didn't like it and neither did the public. They all went crazy about their future ruler not being a pure blood, so they went to attack the royals, but then the guards -- anonymously -- fought them off, the peer went all psycho that they started to kill each other. So Decklan brought me here, but he and Dylan are still in danger there." She said, when she was about to start crying again, Andrew comforted her and she kept her composure straight.
"And what's the problem here?" My father asked.
"According to some journalist they are calling for an unexpected war against you here in Angelina." She said. Realization dawned on him, it was evident in his eyes.
He nodded -- more to himself than to us -- but said nothing else. We stayed in silence for awhile until the sound of a knock filled the room following by the door flying open with three of the Angel-guards at the door. I started to get really worried when I saw the expressions on their faces.
They didn't look scared, they didn't look worried, they looked shocked. Like they saw something ghastly appallingly. My father stood up from his seat really quickly that he was going to fall back if it wasn't for the stick supporting him.
"What is the matter? Come forward." He ordered the guards, they followed his orders. The three of them were spread before his desk beside each other, they bowed to him out of courtesy. "Rise." He ordered, "Talk. what's happening?" He asked them.
"Your highness, We think you should come see for yourself." One of them stated, my father's frown went deeper at the guards words.
The king nodded while he followed out of the room as they led the way. Curiosity got the best of me and I went after them. Surprisingly, only Andrew came with me and neither did the rest.
"The rest said they'll wait for us in the living room." He informed me, I nodded at him as we continued walking behind my father and the guards.
We didn't go to the roof like I expected, instead, we went to the throne room. We rarely get in here, I have never seen my father wear the crown either. He has always left it in here on the throne chair. What's up with Royals and never wanting the crown? But I know better, it is not the crown, it is what comes with it.
