"But I don't really get why there will be war?" that Ashley girl said, a frown etched on her face.
"The reasons remain unknown to us." Allie said as I heard her sigh. She started talking again, but I was too lost in my own world to listen to her, I noticed that her lips were moving but I couldn't hear what she was saying due to my lack of concentration, at the moment. "Why would she want to confirm a civil war?"
"Dylan." I heard someone call out my name, but it wasn't Allie speaking. I shook my head as I cut out my trance, "Dylan are you even listening to what I'm saying?" I looked at Dora and shook my head saying no. She looked at me weirdly then started talking again, "I said I think we should go back now." She repeated her words.
"I agree with Dora, unless you want them to start suspecting things, that is." Decklan said. I honestly have never been more conflicted throughout my life, go back and risk our lives? I'm sure at least one individual caught me under-covered and suspected things. I can't go back now.
But the main reason why I didn't want to head back to Demonia was nothing more than for Dora's sake. Grandma was always harsh on all of us, but none of us took it seriously apart from Dora. I grew up trying to protect her and specially when it came to someone from the 'Royal family member'.
"Didn't you hear what I just said?" Allie asked, "They already started getting dubious towards you. Getting there now is going to cause you no less than trouble."
"By time they start searching for us, and I don't think my grandma can hate me more than she already does." Decklan said as he got up, I followed suit with Dora.
"Dora there is no need for you to come with us, you can stay here if you want." I said.
I may have discovered that she is not my sister, but I still treat her like she is. Honestly speaking, I am sorely scared for her well-being, and right now going back to Demonia is not the safest choice nor place for either of us.
But me and Decklan can handle it, Dora couldn't handle the normal days back in Demonia, let alone when war is about to take place there. She has to stay here, it's for the best for all of us -- especially her. Plus, Darcelle is not too keen with me and her right now, she knows we were the ones who set Allie free.
"No, I'm coming with you guys." she insisted. I shook my head at her we kept arguing for a while, Decklan was on my side and so where the rest of the Angels.
"Dora just stay here, what aren't they your new family or whatever?" I joked but meant it at the same time.
"Family yes, but I am a Devil either way. I'm coming with you guys." She finalized.
But her quisby one track mind didn't alter one bit, we all told her to stay and that we're doing what's best for her, but no.....
She's coming with us. I mocked.
Since Dora was the no-brainer type, she didn't think about the consequences of what could go down when we arrive there. And even though there is a huge probability that nothing can happen when we reach Demonia, still the cons out-weighted the pros.
And we don't want that.
So right now, we were back in our devil looks in the tunnel, on our way back to Demonia, and although I wasn't scared, I felt like something is going to go absolutely wrong in this horrid place.
