PS -an emotional chapter for Elles people.

Ellesmere's POV

I could have sworn I'd seen such patterns before but I couldn't quite remember where. It was probably from my childhood but my memory was a fuzzy blur.

"You know how to open it? "Clint asked coming toward me.

"Yeah but you guys need to back up a little." I said. Hulk growled but still moved backwards. Peter almost fell back down to the ground but Widow was quick to hold him.

Come stand over here and place your legs on the blue rocks, your fingers on the top rocks. Okay sweetie, now drop the thunder. A voice said in my head. I had no idea who it was but it did sound reassuring and o felt a strong sense of Deja Vu.

I stepped on the blue rocks with my legs apart, then sent a charge to each one, they glowed a bright green then I placed two fingers on the hollow points in the rocks above me.

Suddenly, I felt the rocks underneath my legs rotating. A large ray of light shone from under me as I got sucked underground but just before then, I felt something stick to my hand.

"Elles?, Current?, Peter ? "I heard Clint call from above. I fell hard on a rocky ground as a wave of dust covered me. Someone groaned beside me, I turned to look at whoever it was. His red and blue suit shone dimly in the dark cave. The opening had closed immediately it opened but Peter was quick enough to follow me in.

I could hear Hulk's distant roar and the light tapping of feet. I stood up slowly, I had dislocated a bone in my back. It hurt badly.

"Peter? "I called looking behind me but he had already stood up brushing off the dirt from his shoulders.

I raised my brows at him in a "you okay? " manner which I didn't think he saw but he nodded to my surprise.

I lit up my body, the cave became a bright blue. I pressed my earphones and spoke into it. "It's okay, Nat. We're fine down here. We'll just get the Orb and come back out."

But I didn't really know how we were going to get out. The cave was empty but there was a long tunnel in front of us.

"I don't have the tracker or else this would have been a lot easier. "I said.

"So we just keep walking until we see the light? "Peter asked as we walked further into the tunnel.

"If there is any light at all. "I said chuckling softly. At a point, my EC began to flicker.

Peter gazed at me, "What's happening? "

I shook my head trying my best to keep it on but a force around was causing it to go off. "I don't know but I think something's causing this. "

We both looked around for anything at all but the cave was just plain empty with muddy rocks piled up in large heaps at every corner and the sound of our voices echoing even when we talked in whispers.

Eventually, my EC went off totally. I felt Peter take my hand in the darkness. "The last thing we'd want is splitting up without knowing it. "He said. His suit was surprisingly firm against my palm.

He had been without the mask ever since but then I heard a whirring sound. I guessed it covered his face then. We walked some more groping around with our free hand in the dark.

"I wonder if I can get some lights from my suit! " He said then a female voice spoke from his suit.

"LED lights activated. "The female said and immediately, a few parts of his suit lit up with the brightest light, I couldn't even look at him.
