Hey guys, as you know, I brought in the character of Kalia. She helped conceive Ellesmere, kinda weird but it is what it is. I didn't want to bring in the entire story on how Jane met Kalia because that would have meant extra chapters and could have been a bore, instead I made it into a flashback explanation some chapters ago.

Author's POV

The trio kept moving until they came to the street where Peter lived in Queens, the streets completely separated from the busy flood of cars and traffic lights. Only trees and a calm wind blew in the still of the dusk. Most people walked past staring into briefly at the odd group. Some stared a little too long while the others simply didn't care.

"We can rest for a bit "Peter said in a question like manner and Wanda nodded in approval constantly opening and closing her mouth to breathe and try to soothe the dry and uncomfortable parch in her mouth.

"Can I get water around here? " she asked bending over in obvious fatigue. Peter glanced around, not wanting to go to his apartment knowing Aunt May might be around probably making tea but at the same time, tea sounded great. Also, he didn't know how to explain who Wanda and Elles were.

"I don't think so. But we have to keep moving! "He said. Although he was just as tired as Wanda, he didn't look it, only the stain of sweat on the back of his grey shirt gave him away. Elles still hung midair, sound asleep, her skin a warm creamy white in the near dusk.

A faint sound caused Peter to turn, his entire body tensed and rigid at the sound which Wanda didn't seem to notice. He turned his head scanning the area filled with nothing but houses, trees, lampposts and a few wooden street benches and stores. A few people waltzed in and out of the store, that was normal, except for a bunch of men, all clad in blue and black, sticking too close to a particular lamppost not too far away from where Peter was.

"What is it? "Wanda asked looking in the direction Peter was squinting his eyes at. Suddenly, the men started walking towards them. Wanda didn't move, neither did Peter, he only drew Elles close, the red hue still covering her like a warm blanket.

They both had no idea if they were too tired to run or not strong enough to fight but they had to make a choice because the men had begun to slow down their pace as they finally got close.

Peter noticed their eyes, they were glazed over white. Wanda did her signature move with her fingers, not wasting any second in flinging two of the men into the nearest store. The commotion caused the people around to run here and there abandoning their work.

Peter tapped the tiny Spider on his chest and his suit covered him, in a flash, he had one man wrapped in webs like a Christmas present and the other struggling to breathe with the web firmly pressing against his face.

Out of nowhere, more men began to surround them. Wanda raised Elles higher to avoid her getting hurt. The men were ten times stronger than they looked and keeping one down was a hard task. They were slowly being defeated and would be taken captive but Wanda wouldn't have that.

She let her magic form a powerful swirl around the men lifting them twenty-three feet above the ground and with the hardest force, she dropped them to the ground. Lots of bones were broken and many were injured but they had excessive backup. Peter turned to look behind for a brief moment and his face turned pale.

"Where's she gone? "He asked tackling two of the men, he received a hard punch to the gut and had barely gotten up when another came to his lower back. He groaned in pain and turned with all his might kicking off the man that punched him and sticking him to the wall. Wanda also looked around for Elles but she was gone.
