The next few days passed rather quickly, everyone was working hard to gather armor and weapons and many more narnian's had gathered to join the fast growing army. Throughout the days you had helped the centaurs mostly gathering as many weapons as you could find however you had also spend part of the days training with Caspian. You knew if you were to survive the fast approaching war you would have to get better at using your sword and bow. Although Caspian wasn't very good at helping you with your skills with the bow he had more then made up of it with helping you improve your sword skills.

Today wasn't much different, however you were spending your morning guarding the woods with a few other narnian's. You didn't mind having to be on guard duty as it was nice to be out in the fresh air instead of inside the damp, musty fort. So far the day had been quite peaceful, all that could be heard was the birds chirping high up in the trees and the occasional rustle of a bushes as you crossed paths with a narnian who was also on guard both of you nodding your heads at each other before carrying on through the forest.

"AHHH" your head shot up as you heard a scream and the clanging of metal on metal. Quickly taking off running through the forest towards the sound you came to a clearing where you saw Caspian fighting a faired haired boy who didn't look much older than Caspian himself. Un-sheathing your sword; you watched Caspian and the boy through swings at each other and blocking every attack that came their way. Your grip tightened on your sword as you watched the boy disarm Caspian and then swing the sword towards his head, missing only by inches as Caspian ducked causing the sword to get wedged in the tree behind him. You continued to watch as Caspian kicked the boy hard in the stomach causing him to fall backwards; you glanced back to Caspian who was currently trying to get the sword out from the tree before turning your attention back to the boy. You watched him as we reached over to grabbing a rock; you knew instantly that he was going to attack Caspian while his back was turned.

"NOOO" you scream running towards the boy, placing your sword against his throat before he could reach Caspian.

"STOP!" You heard a girl scream, turning your head slightly you could see she was wearing a red dress and had light brown hair. You could feel your muscles relaxing slightly as more narnian's gathered around you. Looking at the boy who you still had at sword point you could clearly see he wasn't fazed by the narnian's; which surprised you as telmarines didn't know about the existents of them and surely would have been scared surrounded by this many.

"Prince Caspian?" The boy asked looking towards Caspian who had now got the sword out of the tree and was holding it towards the boy.

"Yes, and who are you?"

"PETER" you turned back to the girl and watched as other girl who seemed to be older then her joined her side, followed by a boy and Trumpkin. You looked at the sword in Caspian's hand noticing the red handle and lion head craved in the end.

"High King Peter" You whispered lowering your sword from the boy's throat and stepping back slightly.

"I believe you called" Peter stated with a sarcastic tone in his voice looking at you then turning his attention to Caspian.

"Yes but I thought you would be older" Caspian answered back.

"Well if you like we can come back in a few years" Peter reply turning his back ready to walk away.

"No" Caspian replied quickly in response looking between the kings and queens he continued "It's alright; I just thought you ..." He couldn't finish his sentence as his gaze fell upon the older one of the two girls.

"You're not exactly the way we would have expected." You finished his sentence for him knowing he was thinking the same think you were. The kings and queens had ruled Cavaral Pair a long time ago you were sure they would have been older then what they were now. You looked between the queens realising that they were about the same age as you. You gazed stopped upon a dark hair boy who looked to be the same age as you, your eyes travelled down his body taking in his slender yet strong appearance. As your eyes came back to his face you could see that he was now looking at you, a slight blush rose to your cheeks as you turned your gaze away from him.

"Neither are you" He spoke, from the corner of your eye you could see he had a slight smile on his face and was still looking your way.

"A common enemy unites even the oldest of foes" Trufflehunter spoke as he joined your side, giving you a slight nod.

"We have anxiously awaited your arrive" Reepicheef stated stepping forward to the high king. "Our hearts and swords are at your order."

"O my gosh he's so cute" You heard the young of the girls whisper.

"Who said that?" Reep shouted readying his sword to fight anyone who dare call him cute.

"I'm sorry" The girl replied, lowering her head slightly.

"Reep can be a bit sensitive when people call him things like that." You commented stepping forward.

"Y/N how dare you I am not sensitive, I am a soldier and soldiers should not be called cute!" Reep stated pointing his sword towards you.

"I'm ready to take you on any day Reep." You laughed turning your attention back to the Peter and Caspian.

"Well, At least some of you can handle a blade" Peter replied glaring at Caspian with a blank expression before turning his attention back to Reep.

"Yes and I have recently put it to good use securing enough people and weapons for your army." Reep replied giving a slight bow before re-sheathing his sword.

"Good because we're gonna need every sword we can get" Peter commented turning towards Caspian.

"Well, I guess you will be needing yours back." Caspian held up the sword before Peter swiftly grabbed it from his hand before sheathing it.
