Y/n P.O.V

We were walking in the forest. The sun was shining very bright almost annoyingly bright. I see violet walking in front of me with Brody just a few steps ahead.

Since we were allowed to permanently stay we had to contribute and the food was running low. I chose to go fishing with Violet and Brody because I know Vi little better than Louis. So Clem had to go with them. AJ obviously went with her because I guess she was the favourite out of us two. And I didn't mind. I knew I wasn't the best at being a 'mum' i guess, meanwhile Clementine was a natural mother just like Kenny said. Even though I may not be as good as her, I still try. I try to keep AJ safe and help clementine raise him. I hope we did make the right choices.

I catch up and began to walk with the two girls. "You know, I've been thinkin', I wish we could all go on a road trip together." Brody said as we continued through the forest following the dirt path.

"Road trip? Why bother? It's not like there's anything worth seeing anymore." Violet pessimistically replied. "Oh come on I'm sure there is plenty of stuff to see maybe Clem and Y/n could show us around." Brody suggested looking at me over her shoulder. "You're able to get a car working and you know how to drive!" She suggested. "Barely." Violet adds. "C'mon Vi." Brody whines. "I've never driven in my life but I'd love to learn. Well, I'd think it would be fun anyway."

"You seem to be the only one. Lay off Brody." Violet interrupted. I decided not to intervene in their little argument about the 'road trip' I mean it's hard to get a car working yet it even harder to drive without care to nowhere. You always have to think through what to do especially in our situation where we would constantly have to worry about gas, food and walkers. Yet it's nice to have that little positivity.

We came to a little wooden bridge with some sort of old wooden shack. There is also an overgrown car. Brody walked up to it. "I wish this old rust bucket was still working. We could just jump in and start driving." She huffed examining the car.

Honestly, I wish it was that easy but it's really not. "We could take turns on sitting in the back it'd be like one of those cars with the top that goes down!" She examined. In the corner of my eye, I saw violet cross her arms in annoyance. "We'd run out of gas eventually." She argued again. Brody turned around to Violet giving her an irritated look. "But it's fun to image isn't it?" She shot back.

Violet rolled her eyes and turned around walking to the river with an annoyed sigh. "Where would you go Y/n?" I turn to Brody. "If you could drive anywhere you wanted. If gas wasn't an issue." Brody said leaning against the car. "Or a busted out carburettor flat tiers or the transmission," Violet added. "Buzzkill." Brody commented. I chuckled agreeing with her.

"I'd go up one of those roads that go around mountains. I remember when I was little I would watch these shows where they went there with all the animals and the amazing view." I replied. "You could see over the whole world up there, I bet." Brody looked up at the sky.

"Yeah, get a nice view of the world while you die of frostbite. Sounds like a dream." Violet sarcastically remarked. "Come on Vi, would it kill you to live a little?" Brody said. "I've lived here my entire life. Heck, I'd say I know every inch of these woods. I'd kind of like to un-know it." She sadly looks down. "No use of dreaming of what could be we've got shit to do." I turn to Violet. "I think it's ok to dream sometime. People need a little hope to drive them through this shit." I say. She shrugged. "I'll get spears we got them inside the shack. C'mon." Brody began to make her way to it. "You go ahead. I'll stay out here." I give her a quick glance before going inside.

"Where are those spears." Brody mumbled looking around as I walked in and closed the door. "Hey, about Vi. I'm sorry she's been a little mean its... My fault."
