The boat

Clementines P.o.v

"Once we find the boat, we'll look for a way to sneak on board." I looked at the map to see if we were heading in the right direction. The wood gave off a calming vibe yet all of us where on the edge right now. Especially Violet she is the one worrying me the most, she was really off and everyone can see that.

"I hope Tenn doesn't fuck anything up this time." I heard from the back.  Will was glaring into nothing.

"It wasn't Tenn's fault." Aj also turned offended by the words that were said towards his friend.

"Yes, it was! Mitch died because he--" "Say one more thing about Tenn. I dare you." Aj now turned around to and glared back at Willy.

"Look." Violet said from the front solving the situation by switching their attention to the boat in front of us. 

We all made our way closer useing the thick, long, dry grass as our cover so that the people on the higher deck won't spot us. 

We all examined the boat. It was a big one. I didn't expect it o be so huge, this only makes it harder to find out where they are kept, but that won't stop us.  AJ took out the binoculars to get a closer look. 

"The beach, uhm a boat, and uh.. a wood street in water." He said the last one sounding more confused, "That's called a pier." I inform him. "Pier." He corrected himself now looking at me. 

I took the binoculars from him. "Ok, let's spread out and focus on those areas. Keep your heads low." I commanded, and then we all split up examining different areas of the boat.    

I was left with Vi as we spread out. "Have you ever seen this boat before?" 

"No Marlon didn't let us go past the safe zone." She speared me a glance before looking back at the boat almost as if trying to burn it with her eyes

"Pier to the boat seems to be the only way in." She remarked. "Well, let's see what else is down there" I take out my binoculars."There a few on the deck could be more inside."

"Looks like they're well-armed too." Vi looks it too. 

"Wait I see Y/n!" 

"At least we know Able wasn't lying. Did she seem hurt, is she ok?" She questioned me. "She seemed fine at least from where we are no visible injuries." (Teheheh) 

"I don't see any obvious place to keep prisoners." 

"They are probably below deck." 

"When he said on a boat I didn't think it would be this big." I admitted look over the boat again. 

"I can see a small opening at the top of the doors we can figure something out with Aj. Also the pier seems to have plent of cover if we are creafly we can sneak undetected"  I then took a look at the path leading to it. "There is no good cover lading up to it. We are gonna need one hell of a destraction" 

Conveniently we saw some members on the boat shoot walkers and that sparked an idea, James. 

"We can get walkers on the beach." Vi whispered. "That might be not as hard as it seems." I leave her to look on the other side of the boat.  

I walked to Willy. "Anything useful?" I asked.

"Looks like building material furniture. Probably stuff from the train station." 

I looked closely to see indeed all of it was there. "They are loading those rafts with supplies. Sheet metal, wood... and quite a bit of it."  

"We should have that stuff." Willy excitedly whispered. I saw some torches. "We could use the fire." I say. 

I then look over and walk to Aj "Find anything over here?" 

"They have horses." 

Among the trees, I saw more torches. "setting the hey on fire should get their attention to scare the horses too." 

"We could get on the boat easier that way ."

I nodded "If we cut those horses free we could slow down anyone that chases us."

"We should get out of here before anyone spots us. we can talk through the plan once we are somewhere safe." I informed everyone and we all slowly backed down from the boat.
