I was woken up by what seemed to be a lot of muffled noises. I look to Clem's side of the bed to see her also up listening carefully to the sound around us.

Clementine got off the bed putting her hat on before grabbing the candle. I was now curiously listening to the sound while sitting up on the bed. "What the hell?" Clementine questioningly muttered to herself.

The more I listen to the voices the more I can make out Brody's voice but it can't be her. She is meant to be sleeping...unless something happened to her.  "There's voices in the pipes." AJ spoke up while also sitting on his bed." I look up to indeed see pipes at the ceiling of our room. "I think someone is in trouble." Clementine said walking up to AJ's bed. "Is it us?" AJ replied concerned. "No, no, no not right now, but we should help them." Clem explained. "If it's a monster we should kill it." He jumped to a conclusion. "I don't think it is." She thought for a few seconds. "I'll be right back." She said standing up and heading to the door.

"I'm coming too." I say getting up. "No, you have to stay with AJ. What if it's something actually dangerous." Clem tried to convince me. "See that's why I should come with you... To have your back just in case." I insisted. Yet no luck she gave me a pleading look. I irritatedly sigh and nod. "Fine." I give in. "I'll be right back." She said and left the room. 

It's been a good few minutes and all of a sudden we heard a huge thud in the pipes. I got very confused and then a scream. I froze.

AJ ran out of the room with me trying to catch up to him. He ran out into the courtyard i hurriedly run over to him. Once I exited the admin building I came to see AJ pointing his gun at Marlon while everyone who also woke up consciously surrounded the two.

I was now fully out of the building. I could feel the cold rain cooling my skin as I make my way to the crowd. "Where is Clementine?!" AJ shouted at a very scared Marlon. "Calm down AJ we'll find her." I say trying to come closer. "Get this fucking psycho away from me!" Marlon exclaimed trying to move away. Just then AJ returned his attention back to Marlon. "Where is she!?"

"She's... She's in the basement. Sh-she murdered Brody!". My eyes widen. What the actual fuck is going on. I could hear the confused and shocked reactions coming from the others. I did not believe him one bit I know Clem almost my whole life and I am sure she wouldn't do that. "Is that blood on your face." Mitch pointed out. I closely inspect him and I spot a splatter of blood on his face. He slowly backed away. "Why Brody?" "Did you see it happen?" "Is she a walker now?" Everyone questioned.

I hear footsteps and I turn to see a very pissed off Clem. "Clem!" I run up to her. While AJ excitedly turned in her direction. "You killed Brody, you hit her so hard, her head split open." She walked closer to him. "I saw you kill her." Marlon aggressively pointed at her. He is seriously acting like a child. "What the hell is going on?" Violet asked as she made her way to the crowd with Tenn. "Look at her hands! She is covered with Brody's blood!" Marlon walked closer to Clem.  I look at her hands that actually were covered on blood. I saw the sad and scared expiration form on her face that was enough evidence for me to realize Marlon was just trying to blame her. "Marlin quit the bullshit." I yell. 

Marlon charged at AJ taking his gun and making him lose his balance. "We saved their lives when anyone else would've kept walking! We fed them, we kept them warm! And this is how they thank us." He shouted holding up the gun. "Guns being pulled and murder! Well FUCK, THEM." He pointed the gun at Clementine.

"You shoot me and what do you offer up to your raider friends when they come knocking?" Clementine exclaimed. I wasn't the only one confused by her words. "Wait what?" I asked her. "He won't do it because he needs us alive." She explained. "Shut up." Marlon interrupted. "Brody told me Marlon was gonna give up me, y/n and AJ to the raiders in exchange for safety. The same way he gave up Sophie and Minnie" Clem continued. "Shut the fuck up Clementine!" Marlon tried to quieter her again. "Let her talk." Aasim insisted. "Brody told me the truth and that's why Marlon killed her." Everyone turned their attention to Marlon.

"Aw, come the fuck on they only met up with these raiders because Clem and y/n insisted we go out there. Quite the coincidence ain't it. Shame I don't believe in those. Think about how scared we all were when the adults left. I pulled us out of this fear. I gave us all courage again. Who are you gonna believe, huh? Johnny-come-lately, Pete-know-it-all and their little fucking lunatic? Or me? Your friend?" He finished his speech now pointing the gun at me since I stood protectively in front of Clem.

"Violet, you have to believe me?" I tried to reason. Violet glanced at AJ and then looked up at me. "You don't! You met her like two days ago" Marlon argued. Fucking prick. She sadly looked down. "I don't know you, y/n. Not really. I'm sorry." I shook my head in disbelief.

"This isn't like the Violet I met two days ago. I know that your not weak." I tried again. "Don't let her get in your head. Hey, what would Minnie want you to do? She was my friend too." He really went low. "So was Brody." He said turning back and pointing the gun at my head. "Y/n I... Shit." Violet said unsure of what to do. "We will all be safer once i pull the trigger." Marlon continued. "If you where there that day those raiders came he would have abandoned you too," Clementine added.

Violet came and stood next to me pulling out her cleaver. Honestly, i couldn't help but have a small smile on my face. I could hear Marlon scoff. "Violet being difficult. Why am I not surprised?" He angrily commented.

"Put down the gun now. We're gonna do this the right way." Violet commanded. "Stand down Marlon be reasonable." Assim agreed.

All the kids began to close in on him. "You don't get it. You don't understand at all, do you? I'm trying to protect you." He yelled while waving the gun around. "All of you. Every fucking one of you." He adds. "How is pointing a loaded gun around protecting any one? Brody is dead Sophie and Minerva are gone. You suck protection." Clementine pointed out.

"Shut your fucking mouth. I made the right call I've saved lives of ever one in this fucking school. If they came back... I'd do it again..." You could hear offended exclaims coming from the others. "I had to save the rest of you ok?" Marlon tried to justify himself. "You gave my sisters away." Tenn interrupted him. "Why would you do something like that?" He questioned making his way to Marlon. "I trusted you. They trusted you."

"He was in a tight spot. He did the wrong thing but he thought it was for the right reason. But it doesn't mean he shouldn't have to pay for it." Clementine interfered.

"I wanted to get them. Stage some kind of rescue. Honest Tenn I just couldn't. I was... I was too afraid." Marlon admitted. "You killed Brody because she knew?" Tenn asked. "Mhmm... I didn't mean to? I didnt want this. I wanted to save all of you. Sophie, Minerva. I didn't want to hurt them.

" we still can fix this Marlon." Clementine tried to calm him down. "It's going to be ok. We can make this right."

"We'll help you. We're all family here the only one any of us have left." Louis agreed. Marlon dropped the gun in surrender. And slowly turned to us. "I know i betrayed you, all of you. Just let me leave. Never have to see me again. Just let me become... A bad memory. Just give me that. Please." He pleaded. "Don't-" Clementine gets cut of by a gunshot and Marlon falls down. Blood pouring from his forehead. We all look at who was behind this in shock.

AJ was holding the gun looking confused at our reaction.

"Wh-what? I saved one for me."
