chapter 52: The inevitable Standoff

                      The sun was high up in the sky, but the warmth could hardly be felt, in the bandits campsite which sat at the feet of an ice mountain.  With the ground cold too cold to their feet. The other  three helped Kelvin onto Rava's horse. Edda still stood at his side holding his hands and looking up at him, his eyes remained closed, but she could tell that he was breathing.

Marcus handed a cape over to Rava which he used to strap Kelvin to his back. After which he signalled Edda to back away,  so he could ride back to he church.
After they disappeared into the distance. Aureathria and Edda looked at each other for a bit, unable to speak,  but Aureathria found her words first.
" don't do anything stupid princess " she warned
The statement dragged Marcus's gaze to her, amazed at the audacious disrespect.
" Levi already had this coming " Edda replied and climbed her horse.
She was barely a few feet away when  Aureathria and Marcus went for Theirs
"you're not going to stop her "  Aureathria asked
"nope " Marcus said climbing on
" this will break your team into many pieces "
"that's the way it's been since day one love " he replied blankly and rode ahead of her.

                          The church was already being evacuated when Rava got back.  He stopped when he noticed them loading out,  including the priest and the Two girls.  Levi had somehow been able to convince them to ditch the others, and this angered him. He yelled at them to alert them to his presence.
Vulcan and Mia quickly went to help him set Kelvin down.
Natasha, at the table where Dorian, Levi, herself, Carina, and Ivan were deciding which route to take on a map spread on a table, noticed then bringing Kelvin down through the window,  and ran out to join them,  and the others followed her after noticing what she was running towards Except Levi and Carina, who remained at the table.

She noticed Levi's hands trebling on the table,  and took it in hers.
"I'm with you,  no matter what okay..." she whispered ...
Levi smiled in response,  but it died down as quickly as it had appeared, as he let go of her hand and went to the door post, to get a view of what was going on.

Natasha knelt at his side as they set him down on a bench outside. She called his name a couple of times, but he couldn't respond properly.  She knew he wasn't healing quick enough,  and could die before his tissues repaired completely.
She requested that water be brought to her, during which Rava went to bring Ava to help out. Ariel brought the water to Natasha and she gave Kelvin a drink of it, but just came back out with more blood.

She didn't Panic, but braced herself for what was to come next. Ava sat on the other side,  and put an Arm on Kelvin's shoulder. She was going to close her eyes,  then opened them back like she remembered something. She immediately opened his shirt, and noticed that the Ruby eyes of the wolf head were glowing red again. She removed her hand from his shoulder and looked to Rava again,  her expression revealing that she wasn't going to do it.

Natasha ignoring all her drama stirred the water with her finger and began muttering till the water began to have a glint of gold.  She then poured it in his mouth, to stabilize him.
Ava's eyes grew wide, but that was only the beginning. She opened his shirt further, then placed her hand on the cut,  and with minimum effort, caused the flesh to begin to close. She removed her hand, And the wound was gone, without a single scar, or anything of the sort.

Rava looked between them both, confused for a bit, wandering what the difference between them was.
"great there's two of them now " Kira murmured from his side.
"ugh...  Obviously? " Rava said giving Ava an inquiring stare,  when he noticed how uncomfortable she was.
Natasha then looked up at her, strangely,  like she had something against her,  but was distracted by the galloping of horses in the distance. 

                         Edda reached them first, and a silence with her. Somehow they all still feared her temper, she knelt at Kelvin's side, took off her gloves and put her hand on his temple,  and his eyes opened, then he smiled. His eyes traveled around to the others who nodded when their eyes connected with his. Then his eyes jammed Levi's, and his expression straightened.
