Let's just say he never showed his face, not even the day after I mean no calls nor a courtesy text. Just nothing and as I predicted my sister has sunk into a funk. The whole house is tense if you ask me, I hate the tension this whole situation is causing.
Kierra hasn't stepped foot outside of her room since Saturday night, she came out to get her nachos when she woke up before asking about her dad. Although she shrugged it off after I told her he probably wasn't coming, she's been locked in there all day Saturday, Sunday and today is Monday.
They don't have school because it is a Staff Planning day, so I'm going to get her out of this damn house well after my interview. It was supposed to be held last Friday but since today was a planning day for the staff we decided to do it this morning. It's now 7 am and I'm getting dressed for my formal interview with the dance department at the Academy. I'm excited as hell and going all out, even though I basically have the job.

Wearing a white blazer suit, I did a light beat of makeup on my face trying to keep as much as a natural look as possible. After adding my gold chunky choker chain and placing it on with my rings, I was finally ready.
Taking a picture I turned the light off in the bathroom before going back into my room. Grabbing my resume along with my purse and car keys, I shut the lights off leaving out the room.
"Morning baby girl" my mom greets as I walk into the kitchen "Good morning mommy" kissing her cheek I grab a fruit bowls out and a water "If Kierra wakes up before I get back please make her get dressed" I said to her as I left out the kitchen.
Wishing me luck and telling me she loves me, I was on my way to the Academy for my interview as potential guest instructor for the dance department.
For the short drive to the school, I listened to music and hike eating my fruit. Parking in the front of the school, I downed my water before going inside "Good morning Ms Kehlani, follow me" Christina says formally making us both giggle.
Following her into her and Jernigans office, I was greeted with a five people sitting at a table awaiting me. "You got this boo" she whispered in my ear before taking her seat, I'm guessing she noticed my nervousness.
I had only expected to see Christina, Shawl and Jernigan possible Daniels but it's all of them plus the Head Parent of the department. Her and Shawl are besties to say the least, so no wonder she didn't mind about this little meeting. I've never had a real problem with her but who knows what Shawl has been saying since hearing about me wanting to work.
The interview was very formal but I felt like I definitely would get the job, everyone seemed impressed with my answers and the ideas I had for the department. "We might need to bring you on as more that a guest instructor!" Pam jokes "Where were these ideas when you were a student?" Shawl kisses her ass "Couldn't give you all my credit now" I replied sarcastically.
