Friday morning had finally come, I was up early and moving since I had to be at the Academy by 8:30 on the days I'm scheduled to work as guest instructor.

Homeroom is over at 7:50 every morning, so my first class will begin at eight and last for an hour before I have to dismiss them to get dressed and be able to make it to class on time. Eight classes every Friday and I have to attend department meetings on Monday evenings, which won't be a problem since I have Monday's off at the Tatto shop anyway.

The department consist of eighty six dancers, maybe a few more because we don't count the dual majors each dancer is ranked in a level of I to IV and depending on their regular course schedule are either in A classes or B classes. But the level as a whole performs together, trains on the same level with the same materials for the dancers who have leveled over IV they have the option to participate in elective classes. These electives are also offered to seniors and juniors with open classes spaces from all majors.

Today I plan to get to know the students, even though I know most of them already from attending school with them but I'm going to formally introduce myself as the new guest instructor and see what the class is interested in as a whole. I plan to customize each lesson plan for each class, since I will only see them once a week for about an hour I want them to have fun and whine down from their long week.

Grabbing the dance bag, my small book bag and keys I turned my lights off leaving out my room. "Morning Keon" I say as he comes out the bathroom "Morning" he grumbles obviously still tired. I left him up last night watching Netflix, I got sleepy and don't wanna fall asleep on the couch it gets way to dark down there when the tv goes on standby.

I hear music coming from Kierra's room so I knew I didn't have to wake her up "Hmph she must've slept good" I mumble to myself as I get downstairs. It was a little after seven o'clock which is early for her to be up and moving especially since she already planned on riding with me. "Morning Mommy!" I yell through her door seeing her light on "Morning baby, check those cinnamon rolls for me please" she says through her door.

It's smelling good as hell in this house, taking the cinnamon rolls out of the oven I see she has the French toast oven out so I'm guessing she was going to press them out. How my mom came up with these recipes when we were younger was a magical mystery to us, but a delicious treat none the less with me being the oldest and maybe a little fat ass I learned all the recipes.

Scrambled eggs, cinnamon roll French toast, bacon and fruit is what breakfast consisted of we all ate together as a family "You don't work today?" I ask my mom noticing it was after the time she usually leaves "Mhm, but my hours have changed.. drastically" she smiles "So you're gonna make it to the games tonight?" My brother asks eager "I'll be there before y'all start warming up" she smiles at him.

We all left the house at 7:50, Keon rode with his friend Justin who usually picks him up for school while Kierra and I rode together. "So what time do you get off?" She ask as we cruise out the neighborhood "I think 2:45 like you but of course I have to dismiss my class and clean up before clocking out" I tell her "Okay well I'll meet you in whatever studio you're in at the end of the day?" She asks as we pull into the parking lot for teachers "Mhm sounds good. I'll see you later" I tell her as she gets out rushing in, it was five minutes after eight o'clock meaning the tardy bell for first period should be ringing soon.
