Lani and I have been out since three o'clock this afternoon, we were now at the outlets and the sun was setting giving a nice breeze as we stopped back at our starting point.

"Okay, you wanna walk the other half or nah?" She ask me "Ehhhh nah I went everywhere I wanted to go.. you?" I tell her "I'm good too. Let's get some Auntie Annies before we leave though" she drags me and all of our bags to the small line forming in front of the pretzel stand.

"Can I get uhh.... small pretzel pizza bites, a cinnamon pretzel and the sweet glaze sauce" Lani orders before looking to me "Can I have the pizza pretzel and the hot dog pretzel bites with the mustard sauce" I added "$10.98" the cashier says and I pay since Lani has been spending money on me all day.

"I would've paid for it.. here Kiki" she tries to give me a twenty which I ignore "I know you've been paying all day, big balla. I need to write some bars" I joke with her making her laugh "Shit it pays well, but not even mommy gave us some money besides I've been saving and not spending since my last few performances" she tells me.

Lani is an amazing artist, she's gifted musically and she's an even better dancer I look up to her so much. "You know that's not my thing" I laugh waving her off as we reach the car putting the bags in "It use to be though, besides what's the difference you live performing and acting" she says "But I don't like singing.. I hate my voice" I whine over dramatically "Girl bye here!" She waves me off pulling out the outlet parking lot.

My voice really wasn't bad at all, I just preferred to act shit even dance over singing. Ion know I just feel like we all have our thing, and even though we can succeed in anything we do music is Lani's thing and I'd never want to step into her light. I love doing duets and little shows with her when we were younger, mommy always said we could be a little girls group that goes big!

By six o'clock we were getting closer to town, the outlets were actually about forty five minutes to an hour outside of town so we had a nice ride back. "You haven't said much about your dad.." she says as we cruise the one way street "What's there to say? Ke was right I shouldn't have gotten my hopes up anyway" I shrug looking out the window "First of all Keon is an ass so don't listen to him.. Apparently something came up and he lost track of time" she says to me trying to make the situation seem lighter.

"Something more important than the track of time he's been losing with his children while he's been MIA" I scuff "Whoaa Ki... this must really be bothering you" she says "Maybe a little... Lani I was looking forward to seeing him especially after thanksgiving. But now I'm starting to feel like my brother, just send the checks and stay away from me.." I look at her "Aww babes, look I can't imagine how you're feeling nor can I tell you how to feel but I say don't completely shut him out.. let's say if he makes an effort you'll do the same but if not.. out of sight, out of mind? But at the same time don't let his short comings effect you baby sister, I hate to see you in a funk because of anything but mostly things like this I can't control. " She suggest and I smile

"I like that.. out of sight, out of mind. Okay Lani, I'll do that" I hug her as we pull into the driveway of our home. "You think Keons back?" She ask putting the car in park before shutting off the engine. "Girl please, mom said twelve o'clock and it's barely eight.. Hell no!" I laugh getting out going to the truck to get out bags.

While Lani got the trash from the pretzel place, I opened the door going inside with the bags I had leaving them in the living room and she followed suit locking the door. You'd think we cashed out at the outlet but they always have great deals, not to mention Lani and I knew a thing or two about shopping on a budget. You'd be surprised at the things you find hidden in the clearance area, along with the additional deals they have on clearance. Like you cannot beat an addition 30% off of something already priced at 5.99.

"Come on, let's go through and separate this stuff" she starts going through the bags and I sit on the floor Indian style doing the same. We had bags from every store you could imagine H&M, Forever21, 579, Charlotte Russes shit Urban Outfitters you name it and we had something from their rather it be clothes to sunglasses or phone cases. "Can you take my stuff in my room too?" She ask as we finish up "I guess lazy" I joke with her taking her stuff first, since I planned to change into some comfy clothes after taking my stuff to my room.

"OMFG LANI!!!! LANI!!" I yell running out of my room "LANI!" I scream all the way down the stairs "What!! Kierra?!? You okay" I could hear the panic in her voice as she ran to the stairs "Lani Lani

"OMFG LANI!!!! LANI!!" I yell running out of my room "LANI!" I scream all the way down the stairs "What!! Kierra?!? You okay" I could hear the panic in her voice as she ran to the stairs "Lani Lani..." I try to catch my breath and she looking at me worried and confused.

"Kierra y'all to me!" She urged me worried "Just come here!" I drag her to my room "Awwww!" She coos seeing the black dog laid on my bed looking at us confused and curious. "He's so fucking cute!" She scoops him up cuddling him "But whose dog is it though?.." I ask rubbing his head "Ion know." She shrugs playing with the dog.

I eyed her "So this isn't you and mom?" I question skeptically "Nah, had I thought of this we would've had a dog yearrrrrsssss ago" she drags making us laugh "How the hell he get in here then.. think mom will let me keep him?" I ask not even caring about where he cane from honestly "Well if he's already made a home here before she comes..." she says slyly "I like how you think big sister" we smile, she grabs they car keys while I get the dog and put on some shoes.
