Monday morning I woke up super early, earlier than usual and the house was quite as a mouse. When I first woke up it was a little after seven a.m, I couldn't go back to sleep so I smoked on my roof top listening to some new beats. I haven't been to the studio in so long, Clyde texted me the other day joking about me quitting on the music for a regular nine to five. I told him never and that I'd most likely stop in today, if not definitely tomorrow since the shop is closing early for the holidays.
A Fifth of Ink is closing early tomorrow around 6:30, David and Tay are hosting a Christmas party at nine that night and we all have to get ready. It's gonna be huge and we're all excited as hell, Tay went all out with planning it while David covered the guest list. They invited artist and tattoo shops all around the city to come, and with majority of them RSVPing I know shit gone be live! You ever been to a tattoo shop function or party, if not you're missing out! Everyone was given an invitation, even us at the shop that came with VIP passes for us and our guest Tay stressed how important it is that we bring our pass because security isn't letting anyone without one in.
I don't know if I want to take Kyrie or just go alone, we're getting close I don't know what to call it just yet but it's definitely out of the friend zone now. He's been talking up this date since he mentioned it, from how hype he is I can't wait until Saturday night. Their big game is this Friday against Southside and they have been practicing hard, and they are only getting started. Keon was up with me this morning getting ready for practice, they have team breakfast at 8 am every morning this week followed by practice from 12 until 4 pm. If practices goes over for whatever reason, they feed them dinner and the cycle repeats it's the routine for all big games really so the boys are use to it. It sucks though I wish Kyrie and I could hang out more, like Haley and Matt since he's a football and track star he has the season off.
They do get a break on Christmas and the day before the game, since the game isn't until 5 o'clock Friday starting with the girl junior varsity team they are giving them Thursday practice off but they have a light practice before the game. I already found my outfit for the game, shit is fye all jokes aside but I won't be able to do no toe touch for the free throws. I plan to take my bundles out too, I'm gonna dye them before reinstalling them. I wanna go blonde, but I don't wanna just put the color in my hair I need to see what it looks like first because the blonde I want is bright as hell and might not look good.
By 10 o'clock I had finally decided to get out of bed, I had been writing and lounging around all morning because everyone was asleep but now I was hungry. Going into our bathroom, I notice Kierra room light is still out "Wake ya ass up!" I hit her door "Leave me aloneeeee" she sings back playfully "You up?" I walk into her room brushing my teeth "Mhm, I been up for about an hour now. I'm hungry, mommy cooked some breakfast?" she ask getting up. "Nope, she sleep too mommy been partying hard" I joke after spitting the toothpaste out. "Right! Her and Lira have really been hitting it off" she says brushing her teeth "I know right, I love seeing her dressing up to go out and having fun. Mommy needed a friend" I tell her washing my face.
