Tia came by the shop today to see me I had no idea she was stopping by "I heard someone has a big date tonight" she coos pulling up a chair at the reception desk with me "It's not a date" I whine playfully smiling "Yeah, okay whatever you say Kehlani" she waves me off "Seriously it's not, who told you anyways.. the real dates this Saturday" I say smiling and blushing. "Oohh I see you best friend!! But its nobody.. just a little birdie." she shrugs "Mhm, would that birdie happen to be Steph?" I wiggle my eyebrows at her "Psh no!" she exclaims and I give her a look making her bust out laughing.
Tia was so cute "Girl you're denying him and I ain't even ask yet, don't do lil Steph like that ni!" I joke "Girl bye! I ain't hardly stunting that boy" she waves me off "Yeah, okay I'll pretend I don't see you blushing thinking about him" I tease her and she pushes me playfully. "Anyways, what time are you getting out of here?" she ask "Well we close at six o'clock but since we're stopping walking ins at 4:30 I just gotta clean up and stock, then we're good to go"I tell her "Cool, I know your indecisive ass still don't know what to wear so I'm here to help... Plus I could use a little pampering before Christmas."she says and I laugh "You know me so well, you're the best"I give her a sloppy kiss which she wipes off.
I've known about the Christmas party for a hot little minute now and I found something to wear a long time ago. But now that I have a date I wanna change it up, I mean the outfit is still super cute but I want something else. When I picked Keon up from practice yesterday I invited Kyrie to the Christmas party, of course he agreed to come as my date, he calls it our warm up date that boy is silly. I also gave him his VIP pass, even though he'd be picking me up from my house. My mom has been bugging me about officially meeting him, she's so annoying but since he's picking me up I guess I can introduce the.
Keon was hype when he found out we were talking and it might be getting serious "That's the big homie, sis but still watch out he cool and all but Ky got the hoes.. rather he wants them or not fresh meat all the way to the cougars at that school want him" he told me and the shit stuck with me. Not in a bad way because Kyrie has done nothing wrong thus far nor has he disrespected what we have and are trying to build. But still we aren't public yet, so only our group of friends really know about us talking since that is all we're really doing but I can't help but wonder if shit will change when people start to notice us or we do go public. Like is the drama and bitches going to start coming out the wood works.
I honestly hope not, I really like Kyrie and if things don't work out I would love for us to stay good friends. Which is going to be inevitable since our friends mesh so well together and like each other too. We're all gonna be squad and couple goals, Haley's goofy self always says that. Her and Matt have hit it off well. Y'all know he had my girl head gone since they met, but she got hi sprung too they wasted no time claiming what was theirs and everyone knows, loves and respects them as a couple.
"Alright Tay and David, I'll see y'all tonight" I tell the since they were the only too in the lobby. It was ten minutes before five and mostly everyone had already left or were getting ready to leave. I had just finished cleaning the lobby area and stocking the booths for when we return after Christmas, now I was heading straight to pick up Tia. She had drove up here earlier but wanted to ride around with me instead of us taking two cars everywhere, and since she stayed by the mall and everywhere else we needed to go it works out. I wouldn't be going out of my way to take her home.
