OCTOBER 2018.

it was a normal afternoon, as hoseok and yoongi casually hung out on hoseok's doorstep. autumn was approaching, and they were fond of the sight of leaves falling off of trees.

as usual, they were enjoying a late afternoon smoke.

"yoongi," hoseok calls yoongi softly, and he hums in response. "has your mom found out about you smoking yet?"

yoongi chuckles bitterly, "as if she ever cared about what i  wanted to do. besides, she should know by now."

hoseok raises a brow, "how?"

"the smell."

hoseok's mouth forms an 'o', as he takes in another breath of smoke. he blows the smoke into yoongi's face, giggling.

yoongi glares at the boy, "if you do that one more time, i'll make sure that mouth of yours won't be part of your body anymore."

"you can't rip my mouth off." hoseok laughs.

yoongi shrugs, taking in a breath of smoke. "you wouldn't know."

later that day, yoongi was long gone from hoseok's house.

he stayed home for a while, before despising his mother's presence; he decided to stay out for longer.

chilly winds blew, as autumn leaves continued to fall gracefully off of tree branches.

"you have got to be kidding me," yoongi clicked his tongue, as he wrapped a leather jacket around his body. windy weather was something yoongi strongly disliked.

he wanted to go for an early evening walk, because today he felt like watching the sunset. the weather was only getting chillier, however.

yoongi continued to walk down the sidewalk, hands in his pockets. luckily, he layered a black hoodie under his leather jacket, so he covered his head with his hood.

he stopped walking at the end of the sidewalk. the lights were green at the end of the crosswalk, so he waited for cars to pass by.

the sun continued to set, the sky becoming pink, then orange. yoongi admired it, his eyes sparkling at the side.

little did he know, there was someone else at the other side, staring at him.

yoongi looked back in front of him, glancing at the traffic light; completely oblivious to the fact there was someone across from him.

the light turned red, and that was yoongi's cue to cross the road.

as he was crossing, that was when he finally noticed the person across from him. his vision of the person became clearer and clearer, as he approached the other side.

once he did, he just walked past the person without a word.

why would he talk to someone he doesn't even know?

or so he thought.

while yoongi continued to walk, he felt a tap on his shoulder. becoming alert, he turns around quickly.

there stood a girl, a peitite girl. her smile was beautiful, as she gave him a cute little wave with her small hand.

his eyes widen, eyebrows raising in surprise. "alex...?"

the girl in front of him chuckled, a cheeky grin dancing on her lips.

"it's been a while since we've seen each other, yeon-kimin."
