I got up quietly and headed for the door. There was a possibility of escape without killing anyone. Of course, I was wrong.
'Don't even think about escape.'
'Sasuke,' I growled, for what felt like the millionth time. I turned to see him leaning against the wall in the shadows. 'I could kill you right now, and you know it,' I continued. My voice was cold, even to me, and for the first time, I wished I was as good at threatening someone as he was.
Trust me, I'd seen him threaten a lot of people.
'Huh,' he snorted. I rolled my eyes. 'Don't underestimate me, Hana. And don't judge my battle skills based on that one encounter for you to join the Akatsuki.' I raised my eyebrow. 'Really? I shouldn't judge you on the fact that you underestimated your ene-.... opponent, and you couldn't even sense a mere clone without your Sharingan.'
'And also,' I continued. 'The fact that you don't know you're ruining your eyes and will become blind soon.'
He just stared at me, not knowing weather to believe me or not.
I sighed.
'Sasuke,' I continued. 'Have you ever read anything in the books that were kept in the secret meeting room of the Uchihas? The one you showed me? And very rightly so.' I kind of muttered the last part. Even with all the drama, in the end, I am an Uchiha.
Sasuke shook his head at my earlier question. 'Fine,' I huffed. 'But you will have to find out for yourself. I'm not giving information to the enemy.' He glared at me, knowing I had more knowledge in this area, but I just stared back stubbornly. He wasn't getting anything even if he tried.
'Fine,' he spat, and rushed towards me. He caught me by the throat. Even though I couldn't breathe, I kept my cool. Using the breath, I had, I laughed a true laugh.
I punched him in the stomach, hard; still laughing. He released his hand and stepped back. I breathed freely and didn't make it obvious that I needed air.
'Really, Sasuke? I know you did forget who I am.' I laughed again, then sobered. 'Though that was a bit disrespectful, for anyone.'
I rolled my eyes. 'Now, if you don't mind, I'm leaving. Thanks a lot for wasting my time. Goodbye, and if you pull a stunt like tis one again, I assure you that you won't be standing when I'm done.'
I had spotted a door, but wanted to make more of a dramatic exit. I made the handsigns for my Fireball Jutsu, and put my hand to my mouth. I was about to blow fire when Sasuke pulled my hand away.
'Wait.'
Now I was really irritated. This was going from nowhere to nowhere.
'Sasuke.' I turned on my Mangekyo Sharingan and looked him straight in the eye. 'Didn't I make it clear? I said, leave me alone.'
He gave his signature smirk, 'I must say, your Mangekyo is impressive, but it does nothing to intimidate me.'
He was lying, I knew it. But I didn't call him on his bull.
'Just hear me out, okay? You can leave then if you want to.'
I gave him one more glare, then nodded.
'I need your help.' He stated. I opened my mouth to argue, but he shut me down before I could say anything. 'I know you want to refuse, but as I said before, hear me out.'
I took a deep breath, fighting the urge to slap him across the face.
'The Five Kage summit will convey the day after tomorrow. One of the village elders, Danzo of the Root will be there. He was one of the four, including the Third Hokage to order Itachi's death. I want to kill him. From the information that I have, he will have two guards with him. I want you to help me kill him, and disrupt the Kage summit.'
