After all the introductions were done, I spotted Shikamaru in the crowd. I went up to him and discussed my problem, and he said that we'd better tell his dad. So, we went around to find Shikamaru's dad, Shikaku, the chief strategist.

We finally found him deep in conversation with the Fi

ve Kage. It would be rude to interrupt, so we just stood there. After a tensed few minutes, the Kage seemed to be satisfied, and dispersed. Tsunade-sama and the Raikage inquired about Naruto's training, and then left. We could finally speak to Shikaku.

'Dad,' Shikamaru said. 'Hana wants to speak to you.' Shikaku looked at me. 'The thing is,' I said. 'I'm the leader of the third company. I need to be there to fight. But I also need to be on the island to oversee Naruto's training. He'll go berserk if I'm not there. How can I fight on the frontlines and be there for Naruto?'

Shikaku sighed. He thought for a second, and said, 'Sorry, Hana, but the only solution I can come up with is for you to appoint an assistant to lead the third company when you are not there. It will be very difficult for you to handle both situations simultaneously.'

I looked around, rummaging through my brain. A good leader for the third company? Hmm....

The perfect person finally caught my eye.

'Kakashi sensei!!' I called. He looked. I gestured for him to join our group. 'Yes, Hana?' he enquired, clearly confused. 'Kakashi sensei,' I said. 'You're in the third company, right?' he still looked baffled. 'Yes,' He said.

'How would you like leading the company while I babysit Naruto?'

So that is how Kakashi sensei became the leader of the fourth company.

****

'Fwahh...' I yawned, once I had teleported back to the island. It was almost three in the morning. I was like a zombie. I summoned a sleeping bag from a scroll and crashed, not thinking twice about finding Naruto.

I woke up staring at the blue sky.

A nice way to wake up, right?

Not.

Let me complete the sentence.

I woke up staring at the blue sky, trying to control the urge to punch the person who was shaking me like a rat and yelling my name in my ear, repeatedly.

He apparently didn't know I was awake.

'Earth style: Earth Coffin,' I muttered under my breath, making two hand-signs. The earth immediately rose up and covered Naruto, burying him six feet underground.

He should be happy I was such a nice person. If I was anyone like Sakura, he would have at least fifteen broken bones by now. To prove my point, I also left some space for him to breathe in the coffin.

Muffled yells came from six feet underground. I ignored them, and stretched. I looked up. The sun was high in the sky. It was almost noon. No wonder Naruto was so worked up.

'Release,' I said. The earth softened into sand and fell inward. Naruto climbed out, spitting mud clods out of his mouth. 'I hoped you learnt your lesson about how to wake a person up. Next time, I won't release the jutsu. Got it?'

Naruto looked so crestfallen I just couldn't help it. I ran up to him, and tickled him. He fell to the ground in laughter. He then held my wrists together, and them tickled me. I wriggled helplessly on the ground. Being extremely ticklish was one of my weaknesses, and Naruto knew that.

He was extremely mean in these cases.

'S-stop,' I giggled. 'Say you're sorry,' he said. 'For burying me.' I raised my eyebrows. 'Oh, now I'm the person who's done wrong? You woke me up in such a rude way.' He tickled me without mercy, making tears roll out of my eyes.
