Bill's PoV
I smacked my alarm clock and groaned. Today was the first day of my junior day and I don't want to go. But I had to. I got up and made my way to the bathroom. I did my daily routine before heading back to my room. I had picked out my outfit last night so I put that on. It was a pair of khaki shorts and a pale blue t-shirt that I matched with my white converse.
I grabbed my backpack that consisted of multiple notebooks, folders, writing utensils, and my schedule and went to the kitchen for some breakfast. My mom made pancakes and I gladly ate some. Georgie started his 4th grade this year and he was excited, I decided to not burst his bubble that school actually sucked once you got older.
My mom wished me luck as I made my way out the door, and I told her bye. I drove to Stan's apartment where I found him waiting outside. He also had on Khaki shorts but he had on a pastel pink shirt and his usual black converse. He gave me a kiss on the lips before he buckled himself in.
"So I finally finished the drawing of you. I made sure it is perfect, just like you." He told me with a light pink tint to his cheeks.
"Thanks Stanny." I grabbed his hand from where it was resting on his thigh and held it while I drove.
Yes I know, I should be driving with two hands on the wheel but I couldn't resist the urge to hold his hand.
"I'll give it to you when we get to school. I hope you like it."
"I think I will. I mean it's of me, and you drew it." I said shooting him a smile. "And you are a great artist."
"Thanks love."
We rode the rest of the way to school in a comfortable silence, hand in hand. When we arrived, Stan gave me his drawing and it was absolutely gorgeous. I carefully tucked it in my backpack before we walked to the school.
We still had a bit before school so just like every other school day, we meet up with the losers by the field. It was our daily routine before school and we had been doing it for as long as we had been together as friends.
"Yo Stan the man and Billy boy! About time you two showed up." Richie yelled at us.
I rolled my eyes. "You're literally the only here right now."
"I know." He smirked.
"Richie!" A voice squealed from behind us. We didn't have to turn to see who it was because 1, we could tell by the voice and 2, they ran right by us a second later.
"Eds!"
Eddie jumped into Richie's open arms and they twirled around in circles. Richie kissed his boyfriends lips before he set the smaller boy down and wrapped his arms around him, keeping Eddie close to him.
The two haven't seen each other since the last day of camp and it was starting to show. Eddie's mom wouldn't let him go anywhere because she had 'missed him too much.' She kept Eddie coped in his house getting him ready for the school year, Richie wasn't even able to sneak in through the window. She accepted her sons relationship with Richie, she really did. She was just as supportive as my mother is, but when she hasn't seen Eddie in months. Well, she becomes controlling for a bit.
"It's good to see you again Eddie." Stan said.
"Thanks Stan. It was torture having to stay in my house for a little over two weeks. There's only so much you can do."
"We missed you. Richie the most though." I told him.
"I missed you all too." He said before kissing his boyfriends lips.
Stan sat on the ground and pulled me onto his lap making me giggle. Bev was the last one to show up and it only took a whole four minutes for everyone to come.
"Hey Stan? I went to your house yesterday because I wanted to get ice cream, but your dad said you weren't there anymore. I asked him where you were at and he said 'the fuck should I know?' And slammed the door in my face." Beverly said.
I felt Stan freeze and he nuzzled his face into my back. I could tell he was trying to straighten out his breathing out because his chest kept going up and down and his hands were twitching in my lap.
Richie looked at me because he knew we were the only two who know about Stan's living situation. The others looked very confused. I know Stan didn't want anyone to know his dad kicked him out, but I guess his friends get to know.
It took a minute before Stan's breathing was back to normal and he looked up.
"I-uh-my dad, he kicked me out so I live with my sister now." He mumbled out. I gripped his hand and turned to look at him. I gave him a smile and gave a small one back.
"Oh my god Stan!" Eddie cried.
"Stan I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have gone there, I didn't know. I'm sorry." Bev apologized.
"It's ok Bev. How could you have known? I didn't tell anyone, I was too ashamed too. But I guess you all know now." Stan gave them a smile and that made them not press further. "But we can get ice cream tonight, if you want Bev."
She smiled. "I'd love too."
Everyone decided Stan is ok, which he is, and we went into the school. We all got to our lockers and put our stuff in , besides the material we needed for our first class.
I walked into my first block that I shared with Stan and Ben. I luckily shared every class with at least one of the losers. Maybe this year won't be too bad.
