Me and Leo have been walking around for a bit, Leo is really confused on where to find his locker and I'm trying to help

"Dude i swear your locker is in the depths of hell" i giggled

"I swear" he replied with a smile

"Oh wait here are the 200's!" He exclaimed excited

We scan the lockers until we i finally find the number '216'

"It's right here" I call out to him

He starts fiddling with his locker when I feel my phone buzz in my pocket

Albie: babe who is that, come back to me I miss you :(

     Me:... uhm no.. I'm hanging out with my friend

"Who are you texting" Leo asked and I shot my head straight up.

"Oh sorry it's just my boyfriend Albie. He's being a pain in the neck right now and I just-"

"It's chill. No need to explain I get you, I used to be with this girl named Elizabeth and she would drive my crazy until one day we kind of just grew apart from each other. Nothing could have stopped it, it was just something that had to happen for both of us"

"Oh.." I paused for a second trying to come up with something to say "I'm sorry about that. Have you found someone new?" I asked hoping to sound as considerate as possible

"Nah not really and it's not something to be sorry about. It happened awhile ago anyways"

We both just kept walking in silence for about another 4 minutes until the lunch bell rung and we had to head back to class

Are me and Albie gonna be like that? No! We always work through everything

I got to my last's class and slid into the back because I was just not in the mood for talking to anyone. My mood dropped ever since Leo and I had that talk during lunch. What he said got me thinking and I don't wanna loose Albie.

Just then as the bell rung and Leo walked in. He scanned the seats for a moment, I kinda was hoping he would sit with me because I don't have any friends in this class. It makes me depressed. Just then he found his way next to me and sat right down, placing his bag down quietly in the process

"Hey again" he smiled "also before class starts I just wanted to say, sorry about our conversation at lunch, I totally didn't realize that I kinda worded what I was saying in a way like I was comparing my ex to your boyfriend, I didn't mean it like-"

"What?" I said cutting him off "no no, your fine, I didn't take it the wrong way I just... it got me thinking and shit" I said the last part quietly

God someone kill me please. This is so awkward

Then the bell rung and we both turned and faced the front of the class to try to pay attention to the teacher who began speaking

"Good morning class" the teacher said with a big smile on his face

"So as you all should know you have a test today" fuck I didn't know that. I never know anything.

stupid Paris, stupid Paris.

"After the test we'll be putting together groups for your end of the unit project. I'll have that all explained but for now we'll run through the test prep"

FUUUUUUCK WHY DO I NEVER KNOW WHATS GOING ON IN CLASS

The teacher finished explaining the test to everyone and started handing out copies. She got to me and Leo and whispered in his ear that he doesn't have to take the test since it's his first day at school and he nodded. She then handed me my test and I started to take it.

I finally handed in my test and of course I was the last one to finish. This is what I get for not studying.

"Alright class since all the tests are in, you can start pairing up for the project, just try not to pick someone who you will have trouble working with, please?" the teacher started explaining the project as I was walking back to my seat from handing him my paper.

"Uhm so.... wanna be partners, you're the only person I know in this class" I said awkwardly

"Yup" Leo said looking at me

"Well since we don't really have any in school time to work on this let's meet up at your house to work on this" I said.

"Uhm For sure, let me give you my number so I can send you my address" he said slowly

This is gonna be so awkward I'm gonna cry

Just then I felt another buzz in my pocket and it was a text from albie. "Uhhh yeah sounds good just hold up I got a text" I told Leo whole opening up my messages

Albie: baby can we hang out after school. I wanna talk to you 💜💜

Babe?

Errrg, he knows just how to get me

Me: fine >:(

Albie: meet me by my car :)

Me: okay 😔

"Ok here is my phone" i said handing him my phone and he started typing his number in my contacts

He handed back my phone and I put it in my pocket

"Cool, by the way before we do the project do you wanna eat food? I feel like it would be kind of weird for us to get right into work before we have time to relax" I said slightly smiling

He looked up and his face lit up and he smiled exposing his gorgeous teeth, "sure" he said happily

"But I get to choose where we eat"

Im sorry that this chapter was so bad 💀 but the tea is I don't know how to right (probably why I'm failing language arts lmao xd) anyways I'm gonna keep trying to update more regularly because I'm starting to really like this story even tho it's a whole mess
