Steve Jackson x Albert's sister! reader

Yasss I'm back, for some of you who didn't believe in me guess what? WRONG!

(Y/n)'s p.o.v

I yawn as I sit up, and I hear a knock at my door "come in" I say tiredly, the door opened up to be Albert. I'm his sister in a way, he took me in yadda yadda and we're so close we might as well be siblings. I smile at him and say "what's up?" He then says "I got invited to a cool kid party!" I get up and we did a little victory dance together. When we stopped I hugged him saying "that's awesome, who invited you?!" He is just waiting to tell me, I swear. "Steve Jackson!" I freeze but I didn't let him out of the hug, he doesn't know this but Steve has been nothing but rude for the past week or two.

~flashback~

I closed my locker and as I turned around someone knocked my stuff outta my hands and now they're on the floor. I look up and see Steve Jackson, he doesn't even apologize! All he does is run off as fast as he can.

~different flashback~

I just got this smoothie after waiting in the most longest line ever, and then it gets dumped all over my outfit. When I look up I see a Steve smiling, and then sees what he did and then fast walks away.

~end of flashbacks~

I let go of the hug and then Albert asks "can you please come?! I need your help!" He says looking at me with puppy eyes. Gosh darn him and his puppy eyes! I sigh and say "alright, just please don't leave me." He nods and says "it starts at four, so start getting ready!" I raise an eyebrow at him when he said that. Then he laughs and says "you slept in, it's almost three thirty!" He goes out of my room making me look at my phone. It is almost three thirty, I go to my closet and look at all of my amazing outfits, but I'm looking for a certain one. My strapless (f/c) dress that's average length, and then I'll just put on a necklace to match, I nod in approval as I grab them. As I put them on I look in the mirror and smile at my look, doesn't matter what Steve thinks, I look good. I hear Albert yell "come on, (Y/n)! We'll make it if we leave now!" "Okay! Geez Al, you really are excited about this."

I go out and to the front door instantly and see him nod his head and pull me out and to where the party is. I roll my eyes playfully and then go at the same pace as him, and then we stop at the park, oh great one of these parties. There's a big tarp making it look like a house, and a guard standing at the entrance, the heck I thought this was a party not a club. We go up to the guard and he looks at me and says "oh (Y/n) and guest, right this way!" He let's us through. It's so big in here- wait a minute "Albert, why did he say my name and my guest?! I thought you said you were the one that got invited." He nervously laughs and sweat drops "did you lie to me Albert?!" I get pulled away before I could get an answer from him. I look at who's pulling me, it's some other popular dude from school, all I know is that he's new here.

He turns me to look at his face and smirks looking me up and down 'oh god no, just no!' I think as the music is now getting louder. He twirled me a few times and then says "the name's Alexander, what's yours?" He dips me. I look at the ground then up to him and say "not your type" and then kick him in the stomach. He lets go of me making me fall to the ground, I get up and say "nice try bud, but I delt with dudes like you. So at least try to get to know a person before you flirt, mkay?" He looks up at me surprised. I side smile and then walk away, the place somehow got crowded during that one dance, and now there's laser lights to dance to. I try to find Albert, but then accidentally walk into someone and fall on my butt, and when I looked up I scoffed. It's the one and only Steve himself, he offers me his hand but I decline it and stand up while dusting myself off. I look up at him and say "why would you invite me? You're always so rude" yeah I feel hurt everytime he's rude, but I try to hide it.

He pulls me to a more quieter place and says "look (Y/n), I don't try to be rude-" "then what was up with my books going onto the floor. Or-or let's not forget that smoothie and you smiling at me afterwards?! I say that's you trying to be rude. I just wanted to be friends, but whenever you ever came up to me I can't even talk to you. Ya wanna know why?! It's because you are such.. such a douche bag!" He looks up me surprised as a few tears went down my face. I glare at the ground 'why am I even crying? I know I like him but he obviously doesn't like me back. He doesn't even want to be my friend' at my own thoughts I felt my chest feel heavy as I'm standing. I just wanna slide down to the floor and put my head in my hands, but I'm not gonna because he's right there. I wipe the tears away and say "then explain yourself Jackson, how are you trying not be rude?" He looks like he's deep in thought.

That's when he says "everytime I'm around you I get tongue-tied.... like when I knocked your stuff out of your hands. Wait- that wasn't even me! Joctopus did it as I was walking up to you smiling about to tell you something. I couldn't because you looked mad, so I just walked away. That milkshake, was an accident! I was walking with a group of friends and then accidentally walked into you. When I realized I just fast walked away because I couldn't find the words to say anything, I was just being dumb." Okay having a sister instinct, I think, I had to say this "okay no one is dumb here, okay? Quote me on that. But what did you wanna tell me when I thought you knocked my stuff out of my hands?" He blushed looking down. I raise an eyebrow and then he says "that *mumbles*" "what? I can't hear over the music" I say pointing at the speakers. He sighs and says "I actually- I have a crush on you! I've been trying to get help from friends to tell you. But all they did was told me to do was ask you out, and I barely even talk to you how was I supposed to do that?!" He looks up at me.

I notice he looks confused, this face actually looks hard to look at without feeling bad.... 'wait just a diddly darn second. He likes me back! Say something! Come on mouth and words don't fail me now' I open my mouth and an animal sound comes out. I cover my mouth and blush from the embarrassingly moment I just created for us. He looks at me with a smile and then laughs, his laugh felt contagious, so I laughed along with him. Next thing I know there's chanting "kiss! Kiss! Kiss!" We both look up and see everyone looking at us. I smirk and see the blush on his face, so what I do is grab his shirt and lightly kiss him, the group of people then scream. I pull away before he could even react and say "I've had enough fun for one night. Wanna go out mmm, say this upcoming Saturday? Seven pm?" He smiles and nods. I smile back and then walk into the crowd, until I found Albert with a smirk, oh flip I got caught.
