/Trigger warnings/ Panic attack, self deprecating thoughts

Patton looked in the mirror, holding a dress up to his body. He sighed, wishing to wear it around the house, but not wanting the weird looks or questions. Just then a knock on the door. He quickly threw the dress into the closet before going to the door and opening it.

"Roman wants to have a movie night, want to come join us?" Logan asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Of course! Let me get my PJs' on, I'll be right there"

Logan walked away as Patton quickly changed into his cat onesie and went downstairs to join the others. Romans choice of movie, Mulan. As the movie began, Patton's thoughts began to wander. He wished he could be himself, but was dreading telling the others 'what if they laugh, or say mean things, or kick me out!'

His thoughts were interrupted by Roman breaking into song to sing along to the movie, 'I'll make a man out of you'

'Mulan was able to do it, why can't I?'

The movie continued, Roman sang along to all the songs, Virgil has humming along, and Logan had a small smile on his face, watching the other two dorks! Patton pretended to be engaged to the movie even though he was more focused on his thoughts.

'Look at them, all so happy, I want to be that happy! I wish I could just tell them already! Why is it so hard?' As he was getting more and more into his thoughts, he started to panic 'What if they find out anyways, and hate me because I kept it from them. But if I tell them they might hate me anyways! Do they already hate me? Oh god I think they already hate me! But why? Maybe I'm annoying...'

He started to freak out more, feeling trapped in his mind. Logan took notice of this, and nudged the other two.

"Patton, are you ok?" he asked, reaching to Patton.

Tears began to roll down his face he shook his head, trying to move away from the others. He started hyperventilating, losing control of his breathe, his mind raced with terrible thoughts. He felt like he was drowning in his mind, unable to breathe or think clearly.

"I think he's having a panic attack" Virgil said, adjusting to see Patton clearly. "Can you hear me?" he asked to Patton, who was shaking.

Patton looked up, his eyes red from crying, and nodded shakily.

"Okay then, look at me and breath with me, alright?" Virgil took a deep breath, watching as Patton tried to do the same. "You got it, keep trying, your doing great"

Virgil talked him through it until Patton was calm and breathing normally. "Feeling better now?"

Patton nodded, still a little shaken up but okay.

"What happened?" Logan asked

Patton spoke quietly, "I was just freaking out about telling you guys something... I was afraid you would be mean to me.." His voice trailed off.

"What is it, you can tell us anything" Roman added.

"I'm... well... I'm... I'm gender fluid" He said quietly. He fell silent, waiting for the others responses.

"Oh Patton" Logan said sympathetically

"Do you guys still... still like me?" Patron asked nervously

"Of course we do! Is there anything we can do to help you?"

"Really! Um.. if you guys could call me Payton when I'm a girl like today..."

"Of course we can, Payton"

Payton smiled, knowing she was loved and supported. She ran upstairs to put on a dress before they continued their movie night, laying in a pile on the floor.

I can be brave like Mulan! Payton though returning her attention to the movie, singing along with Roman
