/Trigger Warnings/ Suicide, blood, mentions of drinking and of cutting, very sadness, much crying.

Roman held the gun to his head, his hands trembling

"Stop! What are you doing"

Tears ran down his face as he held his finger over the trigger "I'm saving you from the burden of me!"

"No, Don't do this!" Virgil said, taking a step closer

"Stop! If you get any closer, I'll shoot!"

Virgil put his hands up in defense, taking a step back. "Please don't do this"

"Nobody cares! You guys will all get over it!"

"That's not true, we all care! We will miss you so much, please don't do this!"

Shakingly Roman pulled the gun away from his head, falling to his knees, sobbing. "I'm so, so sorry"

Virgil ran to him, pulling him to a hug. "It's okay, I'm here, your okay."

They were both crying at this point, sitting on the ground, shaking. Roman calmed down a little and looked Virgil in the eyes. "I'm sorry"

Before Virgil could process what was going on there was a gunshot and Roman fell to the ground, gun falling from his hand.

The noise brought Patton and Logan, concerned for their friend's safety. They ran into the room to be met with a gruesome sight. Roman was lying on the ground, Virgil hugging him, both covered in blood. Patton began to cry, immediately rushing over to where Virgil sat.

Logan stood in the doorway, taking in what he saw and trying to stay stoic.

The funeral was a blur of tears and condolences, and when they returned home the house was unusually quiet.

There was no music, no Disney movies in the background. The house seemed as empty as they were, without the stories of a grandiose adventure told by everyone's favorite prince.

They each dealt with the loss differently. Logan filled his days and nights with work, and when that didn't work he would drink away his pain.

Patton was quiet. He stopped cracking jokes and spent most of his time in his room, thinking back to all the good times they had together as a family. He stopped eating, not wanting to leave his room, and could sleep. He only found comfort in pretending Princey was still here.

Virgil would try and drown out his thoughts in music, putting on his headphones and turning up the volume until he could only focus on the lyrics. He knew it was bad for him, but he didn't care, it was his one escape. When the music stopped working he went to cutting. The physical pain distracted him from the emotional pain and was a distraction to the world.

They all fell apart differently, none being able to truly cope with the loss of their best friend.
