Vicki looked at the group of vampires around, trying to understand what's going on and not to freak out at all. "I don't understand why I have to stay cooped up here. Why can't I just go home?" Vicki asked us as I leaned on the table and Alec leans on the wall and Stefan and Damon being themselves as always.
"Because you're changing, Vicki, and it's not something you wanna do alone." Stefan told her. "I was alone at first." I whispered to Alec and he smiles at me sadly.
"There's nothin' about that Logan guy I killed in here. Not a word. Someone's covering it up." Damon said.
"What is that?"
"This is a very special, very old compass. What was Logan Fell doing with it? Aren't you curious?" He asked us as I got up. "Maybe it's a device, that will be the end of vampires." I said sarcastically and I look at Damon who glares at me.
"Well, if you're so worried that somebody's onto you, why don't you just leave town, Damon?" Stefan implied. "We should all be worried." Damon said as I got up and went up to Damon, "well, this is the worst day of my life, that we have to take care of miss crack head over here, that someone more stupid had to turn her into a vampire." I scoffed out and Damon looks at with a glare. "If looks could kill Damon, I would've killed you first." I said. "Sometimes I really hate you." Damon told me.
"I love you too." I said with a smile as Alec chuckled and came up to me and pulled me back to our spots.
"Hey, um, I'm hungry. Do you have anything to eat?" Vicki asked and Stefan grabs a cup. "Here." He told her handing her a cup and she grabbed it looking at it weird.
"What is it?"
"It's what you're craving." Stefan informed her as I scoffed. "Heh. Don't lie to the girl. It's so not what you're craving, but it'll do in a pinch, right, Stef?"
"What is it?"
"Yeah, what is it? Is it a skunk? Saint Bernard? Bambi?" Damon asked jokingly. "Or maybe, Mr. Squirrel." I said and Stefan looks at me.
Stefan looks at Vicki. "Go on. Give it a try." "She's new. She needs people blood. She can't sustain on that stuff." Damon said as I agree with Damon.
"Yeah, why can't I have people blood?" Vicki asked Stefan as Damon nodded at Stefan. "Because it's wrong to pray on innocent people, Vicki."
"You don't have to kill to feed. Just find someone really tasty and then erase their memory after wards. It's so easy." Damon said simply. "No, no, no. There's no guarantee that you can control yourself, okay? It takes years to learn that. You could easily kill somebody, and then you have to carry that with you for the rest of your life, which, if I haven't made clear, is eternity."
