Two weeks have past since everything happened, it had been two weeks since Isabella and Alaric had a one night stand because their emotions were everywhere and didn't know what to do so they did one thing, had sex but now they decided to put everything behind them and pretend that none of that happened.
Isabella got ready to go to the meeting or something. Okay whatever Damon told her to be at. She walk down the stairs and she sees Alec and Juliet and they looked up at her. "Where are you going?" She asked Isabella.
"Well, Damon called me to meet him somewhere, so that's where I'm going right now. So I'll be back in a few hours." Isabella told them and Alec nods and takes a sip of his coffee. "Okay, don't have to much fun." He says and Isabella chuckled.
"I won't." She said as She grabbed her car keys and got into her car and drove to her destination and just as she arrives she sees Damon and walks up to him.
"Why do I have to be here?" Isabella asked her twin brother. "Because we are part of the Council." Damon tells her and she looks at him.
"I never signed up for that." She tells him and he wrapped his arm around her shoulders and smiles. "Well you came in it when you decided to know everything I was doing with the sheriff." He tells her as they walked inside.
"I wish I never did that then." She points out as they see all council members.
"The coroner's office has officially ruled Vicki Donovan's death a drug overdose. Her family has been notified, the truth will stay in this room and we can put this behind us." Sheriff Forbes says to all of them.
"Thank you Sheriff. And on to a more pressing issue, John Gilbert has asked to say a few words." Mayor Lockwood says and Damon and Isabella looked at each other surprised to see another Gilbert.
"Welcome back John, it's good to see you." The Mayor says to him as John looks at everyone.
"Hello everyone, it's wonderful to see you, I wish it were under better circumstances. As a founding family member I find it's my duty to report some very distressing news." John says as Damon still looks at John but speaks quietly to Liz.
"He's a Gilbert?" Damon questions her and she speaks quietly. "Elena's uncle. His name is John but I call him Jackass." She said and Isabella chuckle quietly.
"A hospital blood bank in the neighboring county of Amherst has reported several break in's over the past two weeks. 7 hunters, 4 campers and 2 states employees have been reported missing as well. All of this within a 75-mile radius of Mystic Falls." He says and Isabella looks at Damon with a look.
