Chris POV
While Gordie was describing our future we both had fallen asleep in the position we were in.
Gordie laying peacefully on my chest and me holding him protectively, keeping him safe from everything in the world that could possibly hurt him.
I began to rub circles on his back to kinda wake him up and it was working. I could feel his breathing fasten and his eye flutters open slowly.
"What time is it?" Gordie asked stretching out, but still laying on my chest.
I looked over at his clock that was on the wall, "It's a little after three, we should probably get up or we will be up all night long."
Gordie lifted him self up a bit to look at me, "Your right, we skipped school because I was too tired to get up. But I'm pretty sure I'm tired because of the stress when Eyeball found us." When he said that I could see the fear go over him.
I sat up, but Gordie didn't leave my lap. Which didn't surprise me because he sat in my lap or on me when ever we sit or lay down.
"It's gonna be okay, it's been a few hours now and if he really was gonna do something he would have done it by now," I explained to him trying to calm him down.
"I guess you're right, I just wanna be safe Ya know?" Gordie said standing up, "I'm hungry, wanna cook something?"
"Yeah! I'm starving, we forgot to eat breakfast." I reminded him jumping to my feet.
He chuckled at my sudden burst of energy, but when Gordie said food I was just too excited.
"We could make pancakes since we forgot to eat breakfast?" Gordie asked me as if I was about to turn down food.
I shook my head, "Yes please!"
He smiled again and I could feel the butter flies flutter in my stomach once I saw him smile. I loved making him happy, it was the best part of any day.
"I'll race you down there, the last one down has to get his food last," Gordie said then sprinted for the stairs.
Gordie may have had a head start but I was faster.
I started to sprint after him and slid down the railing instead of taking the stairs like him. Once at the bottom I took off for the kitchen, but right when I was about in the Gordie jumped on me.
What Gordie didn't know was that I could support his weight and mine at the same time. So right when he jumped on me I planted my feet and grabbed his legs.
Gordie was now on my back, his legs wrapped around my waist and his arms around my neck.
"Comfy?" I asked him in a sarcastic tone.
He kissed the back of my neck and whispered in my ear, "I'm always comfy when I'm on you"
The sudden contact of his lips and his breath on my ear started to turn me on.
I froze up for a second which gave Gordie enough time to jump off my back and run into the kitchen to win.
"You wet end Lachance! You did that so you could win!" I said in a playful mean tone.
He squatted down to grab a pan to cook on and I got a great view of his ass, "Well did it work?"
He then stood up and walked to the stove.
"That doesn't matter, I was about to win," I said trying to defend myself.
Gordie walked over to the cabinets to pull out pancake mix, "Well I guess you shouldn't have fallen for it Chambers. Maybe if you thought with your head that's above your shoulders you would be getting pancakes first."
