Chapter 6

Chris POV

Time stopped, I don't know for how long but it stopped. Maybe for just one second or one century, but it stopped.

Eyeball, my brother Eyeball was gay? He must be fucking with our heads, Eyeball has had more night stand than how many A's Gordie's got in his whole life.

Eyeball has to be lying, but why would he lie to us?

I looked at him, "Why would you tell us you were gay? You're lying to us, you have slept with more girls than I have slept with Gordie."

"Just because you have sex with someone doesn't mean you love them." Eyeball told us while looking down at his shoes.

I looked at Gordie then back at Eyeball, "But what, when, what?"

I was so confused, Eyeball gay? It doesn't make sense, I mean I support him because he supported me but Eyeball Chambers gay?

"When did you find out?" Gordie asked him so normally.

Eyeball was even shocked about how normal he asked the question, but Eyeball did respond, "Well I knew this boy, and we had been best friends forever. But nobody knew we were friends because I was a lowlife Chambers kid and he.. Well let's just say he wasn't a lowlife."

I chuckled to myself, "Like Gordie and I?"

Gordie looked at me and chuckled too because he got it too.

Then it was Eyeballs turn to chuckle at the resemblance, "You have no idea."

I looked up at Eyeball, "What do you mean?"

"You don't wanna know. Just take my advice okay? Try to stay away from each other, I've been hearing talk about you two dating. I didn't believe it until I walked in on you two making out, then I believed it.", he say's while looking away.

"Why do people expect it? We haven't done anything in public nor have we ever gotten caught until you walked in on us." Gordie started to explain to him.

"Ha! Haven't you done anything in public? When ever I see you two walk around Chris has his arms around you or you guys say sexual things and people catch on." Eyeball began to go explain to us.

I honestly didn't notice how close Gordie and I got until now. It was kinda true, I would always put my arms around him and mess with him in a flirty way but I figured every body did that with their friends.

No matter what I was still sticking my ground, Eyeball wasn't gonna tell me how to live my life, "Listen Eyeball I don't care if the town knows I'm dating Gordie, hell I wouldn't care if the whole town knew I was fucking Gordon Lachance because we were in love. I don't care what they think, they are all shit heads anyway! They would honestly only know who Goride was if I said Denny Lachance's little brother and they would only know me if I said I was Eyeball Chambers little brother! They don't know us so I don't give a fuck if they know we are in love!"

Eyeball didn't look shocked, Gordie did. But not Eyeball.

"You fucking dumb ass, you think it's that easy? Well, I got news for you, I also didn't care either if people knew. But when it came down to it I wouldn't tell anybody, for his safety. And if you even had the same smarts as your boyfriend you would know it would be safer for him if you two weren't out to everybody! Especially because you know damn well they don't accept gays here!" Eyeball yelled at me, I knew he was just trying to help us but we didn't need his help.

I glared at him but tried to agree with him so the fighting would stop. I get enough of that at home. "Yeah, your right, the last couple that came out gay died. I wouldn't want that for Gordie, he's gonna go somewhere in life. I'm not fucking that up for him."

"Being with you will never fuck up my life. I love you Chris, more than I love myself! The only way you could mess my life up would be by leaving me. So as long as you promise to never leave me, you will never ruin my life." Gordie piped up finally.

I turned to look at him, "I promise to never leave you, I love you more than anybody else in the world. Plus if I were to leave you I would be messing my own life up more than yours. I need you more than people need oxygen to live, a life with out you would like living a life with out breathing."

Gordie began to tear up, I wiped away his tears and leaned in to kiss him.

I loved this feeling, the feeling of Gordie's lips against mine. They molded perfectly together, he made for me. I know it sounds gay but I am I.

I don't know how long Gordie and I kissed, it could have been seconds. But a kiss with Gordie felt like an eternity, so it doesn't surprise me that I had forgotten about Eyeball when I was caught up in the moment.

"You two remind me of how it was for me years ago. It was like we were in our own world, filled with love and lust. Like no one else mattered, only us." Eyeball began to explain to us making me more curious on who he used to love.

I guess it also made Gordie curious too, "Eyeball, you know you can tell us right? I mean one, who are we gonna tell? I only talk to Chris and two, you know we are gay. So you have dirt on us."

Eyeball smirked at Gordie's comment, "Very smart Lachance, but you also have a secret on me. You know I'm gay, I'm not giving you, even more, dirt if you already know enough."

"Umm Eyeball, you have more dirt on us. You know three things, were gay, were dating and that we have had GAY sex. So really you owe us two more secrets.", I told Eyeball envisioning the gay part.

"Well you think your smart Chris, well if you put it that way then I can put it this way. One, you know I am gay. Two, you know I used to date a guy and loved him. So here's three, I had sex with the guy."

I looked at Eyeball shocked, knowing he was gay shocked me. But now knowing he had sex with a guy shocked me even more.

"WHAT!! When how?!?!" I said once again that day, honestly probably in the last hour.

"You wet end, I had sex with a guy when I was your age. Now that how, well you know how for yourself." Eyeball snapped back at my comment.

"If you like guys and doing it with guys, why did you do it with so many girls? Why not stay away from them? Gordie asked since I was lost for words.

"You know how you feel when ever you and Chris do it? Well, I also liked the feeling too, but once the boy I was with left I could never have that feeling again. So I tried to do it with lots of girls to forget the feeling, but no matter how many girls I did it with it never felt the same." Eyeball looked down again, I think he was about to cry.

Gordie walked over to him and hugged him, "It's okay Eyeball. It's okay."

Eyeball and Gordie continued to hug for a while, I had to admit I was getting a bit jealous.

"Hey Eyeball, Gordies my boyfriend," I said trying to break those two apart.

Gordie noticed that I was getting a little uncomfortable about how long and how close they are. He began to pull away but Eyeball was trying to keep him close. But slowly he began to let go, almost like he didn't want to.

Eyeball noticed how weird the whole situation was, "Sorry Gordie, it's just that you smell like Denny. I couldn't-" he stopped talking and slapped his hands over his mouth for the second time today.

"How do you know what Denny smells like? Why do you care that I smell like him" Gordie began to ask him very confused?

But I knew what Eyeball meant and I was shocked, probably for the hundredth time today.

He looked at Gordie then at me, once he saw my face he knew that I knew what was going on.

"I've said way too much", Eyeball said then ran toward the door.
