10 years later
Gordie's POV
It's been ten years since Chris died, and it still affects me.
Richard and I, Eyeball was now going by Richard now because Ace was gone. Plus he hated that name, it was given to him by the man who killed his brother.
But we got out the hell out of Castle Rock, we both hated that place, yet then again that place also hated us.
But when we left that shitty town, we didn't go alone.
We took Luke and Ash with us to our new home.
Besides the fact that neither of their parents were gonna take care of them, we didn't want them to grow up in a shitty place that Richard and I unluckily got to call home.
Now they were living in San Diego, California. Which wasn't the most ideal place to be a writer and raise kids, but it works for us.
Luke and Ash are now 10 and both of them are in school. Which was hard for Richard and I to afford since Richard works in a factory and I am a waitor at spme random diner, but we do what we can for them.
We still haven't told them about Denny and Chris. But they are waiting for the right time. Which we figured when they are fifteen or sixteen we would, but we aren't forsure yet.
Luke and Ash always ask questions like who their parents are, why did we move them, and many more, but we push the questions away and are waiting to answer then.
They only thing that we have told the boys are that I am Ash's older brother and Richard is Lukes, other than that they don't know much. Yet they are still kids, they don't care to know much.
Every year on Denny or Chris's death date we go and buy a hotel by Castle Rock to leave the boys at since they are much older now and we will go to Castle Rock for the day to visit the graves of Denny and Chris.
We usually would sit there and cry a lot, but we would tell Chris and Denny about the boys and how we are doing.
After we would go back to the boys and spend as much time with them as possible, hell you would say we even spoil them.
We don't know if what we are doing is right, I don't think we ever will.
But Richard and I just hope that they make their own history.
