Noah's POV:

It's been two days since I last heard from Venus. I've sent her multiple messages and she always reads them but never responds. I try and contact Ellorie every so often just to make sure Venus is okay.

Ellorie has vouched for me, trying to get Venus to talk to me but she refuses.

I never meant for this to happen, I thought I was doing what was right for both of us.

Today is the day that Venus leaves to go back home to Dallas, and once she's home she's going to find out about her mom never being cured and she's going to lose her mom soon after. Then she won't have anyone, especially if she doesn't come back to me.

I had to do something big to win her over and show her how much I care about her and want to be there for her. Ellorie had texted me their flight information so that I could be at the airport when they got there to have one last chance at talking to Venus.

I took an Uber to the closest flower shop and bought her a huge bouquet of roses, as well as buying rose petals to place on the ground for when she walks into the airport.

I walked down the street to the dollar store so I could pick up a giant poster board and colorful markers to write her name on, begging for forgiveness.

I took another Uber to the airport so I could get everything ready.

I sat down and wrote on the poster.

"Venus Yorkshire —
Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
I don't want to go
Another day without you.
— Noah"

I made it colorful so that it would stand out when she walked in. I got the petals ready and begged security to let me do this and they finally agreed. I spelled her name with rose petals and then left a trail so that she could find me with the big sign and bouquet of flowers.

Ellorie has texted me saying they were just arriving and that they would be inside soon. As nervous as I was, I wanted to see Venus again. She might totally hate me right now, but all I wanted was her and I'm not giving up.

I heard familiar voices in the distance and footsteps were slowly approaching.

There she was. The beautiful blonde I had met just a few days ago. She was wearing black leggings and a Mickey Mouse crop top with red vans.

When her eyes met mine and then fell to the sign, she looked so sad, which means she probably doesn't want me still.

She walked over to me slowly and hesitantly looks into my eyes, "You did all this?"

I nodded nervously, not knowing how she was feeling.

"Why?" She asked with pure curiosity.

"Because I don't want to leave things the way we did. I really like you Venus, and I don't want to lose you like this. If you go back to Dallas with negative feelings towards me, I'll be devastated. This was my last chance." I spoke from my heart, hoping she would reciprocate.

I handed her the bouquet of flowers and she smiled as she took them in her hands, "These are beautiful."

"Not as beautiful as you." I said, and I meant it with every part of me.
