The Alphas' Brother

Chapter 24

    <I count twenty outside, Alpha. Team Golf stated that they were at least four dozen in side. So far no sign of the other Alphas and no sign of any shadows as well.> Nicholas recounts blankly his lips pulled up in to a snarl as he glares angrily at the house. 

  I lay still as my belly gently grazes the soft dirt my eyes peering through the trees in to the yard filled with rogues. I can feel my pack's rage and blood lust throughout link and its feeding in to my own. Wanting to feel my teeth tear in to the bastards who took my mates away from me, away from their home. Malachi snarls angrily as two rogues' laugh bounce and echo through the air but I keep a hold on his urge to jump out. We can't start yet, we must wait for Aaron and Roger to show up with their warriors.

 <Okay, everyone remembers what they must do if they come across any shadows correct?> 

   <Yes Alpha.>

   Thanks to the generosity of the goddess all of my warriors have the blessing to attack shadows. She blessed them in a white light so now as she theorized if one of my warriors are to face one of these shadows they can stamp them out with the light. The goddess warned me that it will not kill them but it will give the wolf a chance to get away before the shadow can cause any physical damage. We have yet to find a way to actually get rid of these things, Luna only said that Rhiver will be the one to do so. Feeling hand sift through my fur I look over my shoulder and my body instantly relaxes. 

  "Hush sweetpea, everything will go well. Rhiver and Blaze are here I can feel them. Just remember Rhiver must fight if we want to put an end to this. You and Blaze are his guardians but he will be the ending." She recites with a solemn expression. My ears pin back to my head as fear fills my mind. I frankly just wanted to get Blaze and Rhiver out of here and back home as soon as possible without them joining in. I have no idea what state they are in and I just want them safe, but having Luna telling me that they can only be safe if they fight is terrifying.

  Suddenly the ground begins to shake as trees and branches snap from their roots in the ground. The sound was monstrous coming from behind us but all I felt was a bolt of excitement flow through me. We can finally get this started. 

 <Our friends have arrived.> A warrior chuckles darkly as the giants got closer to our group. 

 The goddess chuckles softly a musical sound that seems to calm my want to just burst in to a whirlwind of teeth and claws and start killing those douches. Instead I breath in deeply glancing up to Aaron and Roger as they come to a stop next to me. Roger looks as murderous as I do and  right now I'm so glad that Rhiver actually had someone who loved him like family back before we were reunited.

 Rearing my head back I howled out deeply, one that expressed everything that I was feeling that moment. All of my rage, all of my fear and hate poured in to the howl as it roared through the trees gaining the attention of the rogues that were posted in front of the house not even fifty yards from where we were posted. As one my pack growled menacingly making my chest puff out in pride.

 <Let's bring back your Alphas!> I shouted before taking off. Head first in to battle. 

   The first bite in to a rogue's side tasted so sweet. The blood that leaked in to my mouth before the wolf jumped away left my mouth salivating as Malachi growled loudly. A snarl ripped from my muzzle before charging the wolf his neck gets caught in my jaws then I bite down with all my might crushing his windpipe. The wolf fell limply from my clutch but I don't even think as I snatch up another rogue but I growl in pain when his front paw scratches at my chest splitting open the skin. I release my grip on him and he spins in my direction then charges at me lips pulled back in a snarl. Malachi snarls back pushing forward right as the rogue lunges at me Malachi closes his teeth bury in to the rogue's throat and rip out his jugular.
