This is my first Legolas fanfiction, but I've seen all of the Lord of the Rings movies one-hundred times. Trust me I have. I do not own of The Lord of the Rings characters, I only own Anira and her race of people. Her birthplace Deepingale is not Tolkien. But it fits into the story perfectly to me.
Any words or sentences that are in bold and italic are people speaking elvish. Because you can't trust these translators. Another thing is if I misspell something please tell me, instead of being the grammar police because that just annoys me to the point where I want to pull all of my hair out. Stop the grammar police! Just be nice and just tell me nicely. If you have questions don't be afraid to ask, I know some people can be little shy, like me.
Anira is an elf, she is the same age as Legolas, she is bold, peaceful, graceful, friendly, kind, and I little bit reckless. She is amazing at archery, sword fighting, and hand-to-hand combat. Desired by many suitors of elves and men. She fears that her race of people are dead and she is the last one of her kingdom. She lived in many different realms. She lived in Rivendell for about 4 years and lived in The Shire for about a month or so. But she left because she wanted to explore Middle-Earth more. She is good friends with Arwen, Elrond, Gandalf, Bilbo, and Aragorn. She chooses not to become queen, not because of the responsibilities because she is worried about failing her people.
Eldar: Their skin is pale and unblemished as polished marble. This is especially evident in the sinuous grace with which they fight and the dexterity with which they fight with which they field their weaponry. Every gesture is laden with subtle intent, and their reflexes are dazzlingly fast. Their hearts beat at twice the speed of a human's, and their minds race through possibilities and process emotions so fast that even the so-called geniuses of human history appear dull by comparison. To an Eldar, all of life's experiences are available on a far grander scale: the individual rewards of study, the exhilaration of battle, and every imaginable pleasure or sensation inbetween. An Eldar will at some point climb the most noble peaks of accomplishment, just as he/she will plunge into the darkest abyss of doubt.
Enjoy!
