Anira...

Thank the stars for Lothlórien and their hospitality. I asked the maidens if there was a place I could bathe. They showed me to a set of small circular baths that were warm. As I climbed into the water, I felt more relaxed than I ever had since leaving Rivendell. The warm water washed the dirt, blood, and sweat from my skin. I stuck my head underwater to get filth out of my hair, I flipped my hair back and leaned back into the tub. My mind was at a more tranquil state than it was before. I stepped out of the bath, braiding my hair into a halo, put on a dress that was given to me by the maidens - which I found to be extremely beautiful and I walked over to where the Fellowship was seated. They were making camp under a white tarp that was strung between large tree roots.

"Anira." I saw Pippin running up to me. "We set up a place for you."

"Thanks Pip," I muttered after yawning. I walked over to the bed Pippin pointed out to me. I plonked myself on the white blanket, slowly falling asleep. As I closed my eyes I could hear singing through the forest.

"A lament for Gandalf," Legolas whispered. I opened my eyes to see him holding a silver urn of water.

"It's beautiful." I whispered.

"What do they say about him?" Merry asked

"I have not the heart to tell you," he murmured. "For me the grief is still too near."

I too feel that the grief is still too near. I know that we all are still trying to attempt to grasp the fact that Gandalf isn't coming back. I began to listen to the lament more.

No more will you wander the green fields of this earth

Your journey has ended in darkness.

The bonds cut, the spirit broken

The Flame of Anor has left this World

A great light, has gone out."

"I bet they don't mention his fireworks." Sam muttered. "There should be a verse about them." I felt the same, Gandalf's fireworks were lovely. Suddenly Sam jumped to his feet.

"The finest rockets seen

They burst into showers of blue and green

Or after thunder, silver showers,
