Anira...
After the council meeting I began walking to Arwen's room. I knocked on her door waiting for her to answer. "Arwen may I come in?"
"Yes, you may." I walked into her room to find her sitting on her bed reading a book.
"Have you heard the news?"
"Yes." She grew upset and looked as if she wanted to cry. I know she was worried about Aragorn and I.
"Aragorn and I will be safe."
"But what if you are not?"
I walked over to her and sat next to her. "Aragorn will always have hope. He will never give up. And I shall not give up."
"I know. Will you keep him safe?"
"I swear to you that I will protect Aragorn, with my life."
Arwen smiled at my nobility. "Thank you, thank you. My sweet Anira." I hugged Arwen, for this may be the last time, I hug her.
"I will miss you."
"I will miss you as well."
After speaking with Arwen, I went to say goodbye to someone dear to me as well. I walked to the stables looking for Arthion, I found him eating hay quietly, I petted his back slowly.
"My first journey without you." I combed his mane with my fingers.
"I will miss you." After that Arthion and I shared a quite, tender moment together.
Third Person Pov...
Elrond is speaking to the fellowship outside of Rivendell. "The Ringbearer is setting out on the quest of Mount Doom and you who travel with him, no oath nor bond is laid to go further than you will. Farewell. Hold to your purpose and may the blessings of elves." He said looking at Anira and Legolas. "And men." Looking at Boromir "And all free folk." Looking at Gimli. "Go with you."
Frodo leads out, Gandalf, Gimli, Boromir, Legolas, Anira, Sam, Merry, Pippin and Aragorn. Aragorn and Anira pauses and looks back at Arwen. All three of them exchange a long glance. Aragorn and Anira follow the others. Arwen bows her head. The Fellowship leaves Rivendell.
Anira's Pov...
We have been trekking through a land of deep valleys and turbulent waters. Everywhere we went I had to climb the trees and see where we are, I was basically a lookout. After about a day or two we finally rested near a pile of white rocks. Boromir was giving Merry and Pippin a sword lesson. Sam was grabbing a plate of sausages and sat next Frodo, who was sitting on a rock watching Merry and Pippin. Legolas and I were standing on rocks watching the sky as look outs.
"Good, very good." Boromir said as he continued to clash swords with Pippin.
"Move your feet." Aragorn said observing them both
Looking over his shoulder at Merry. "You look good Pippin."
"Thanks."
"If anyone was to ask for my opinion, which I note that they're not, I'd say that we were taking the long way round. Gandalf, we could pass through the Mines of Moria. My cousin Balin would give us a royal welcome."
"No, Gimli. I would not take the road through Moria unless I had no other choice."
The Mines of Moria, even though my people weren't so friendly with dwarves, I've always wanted to go explore The Mines of Moria. Legolas runs in front of me and stares at a grey cloud in the distance. I walked over to where he was standing and sat to the rock next to him.
