Mira's P.O.V
I was having a nice dream until my alarm interrupted it , I shut it off and closed my eyes for 5 minutes
1 hour later
My alarms started ringing again and this time I checked up the time and saw that I was very late for work
I had only 5 minutes to get ready
Without thinking I got up and hurriedly freshened up and wore my clothes and then rushed to the front door
My job is at the cafe so it's only a walk away so I started to run to the cafe
And while running I crashed into someone and their coffee completely spilled everywhere
"Look what you did" the voice said , it was a guy
"You should watch where your going" i said scoffing him off
"Do you know how much this cost?" He asked loudly
"Well not more than what I earn" I mumbled which was quite loud for him to hear
"This is a 40k jacket" he said and I was shocked
"okay fine I'm sorry , I'm getting late for work" I replied and tried to run away but he caught my wrist
"Your going nowhere until you apologize properly" he said and I got pissed but anyways even if I sell my kidney I wouldn't be able to repay him so it's better to apologize
"I'm so sorry please forgive me for my silly mistake" I said with aegyo
"Cringy" he whispered
"But anyway apology accepted you can go" he said smirking
This guys wasted half my time , so now I had to use my maximum speed to reach because I never became late for my job
I finally reached and got in and wore my apron
"Your late" my best friend said
"Jin , I accidentally slept" I said and he started laughing
"Alright alright the customers are coming in" he said and we both got on the business
After 15 minutes later a familiar face entered the cafe and I recognized him
He was the same guy who made me apologize
"Hi I would like to have a Americano please" he said and looked at me and then he was totally shocked
"YOU?" I shouted at him
"You?" He said back with a disgusted face
"What are you doing here?" I asked him
"Uhh came to order a coffee?" He replied making me feel dumb
"Whatever that'll be 4 dollars" I said forgetting whatever happened and he handed me the money , I snatched it and went to make his americano
"Rude" he said
I didn't bother to reply and I silently just gave his Americano
He drank and then made a disgusted face
"This lacks sugar" he said
"And you lack Taste buds because I did add sugar" I said frustrated
"Is this the way you behave to a customer? Call your manager , I wanna talk" he said
"Alright wait here" i said and went inside the staff room and wore my manager shirt and then came back to him
"Hi yes I'm the manager what do you want?" I said and he had a shocked expression
"Your joking right ? I said Call the manager not play pranks with me" he said and I did a 360° turn and said him again
"Yes I'm the real manager what do you want?" I asked him with a smirk
"This americano is not good please add some sugar" he said and handed me
"Alright" I said and took his americano and added the sugar he wanted
"Here" I said giving him back
"Much better" he said after taking sip and left with a shocked expression on his face
"Damn what happened?" Jin asked
"Nothing , he wanted to see the manager" I said and he bursted out laughing
"Did he get surprised? Seeing you?" he asked through his laugh
"Well fortunately he did" I said
"Good for him because no one knows your the manager here" he said and smiled
"You're right, it's better that way cause at least we can see the shocked expression on customer faces" I said
There are only like 4 workers in my cafe and this is the most rated cafe here so it's very busy everytime and I finish my work around at 6:00 pm
After an exhausting day , I closed the cafe and sat on the couch drinking some milkshake and Jin sat opposite to me
"So how's everything with your girlfriend?" I asked him
"Well , I dumped her" he said and I Almost spit my milkshake
"What why?" I asked
"She cheated on me" he replied with sadness in his voice
"Why do every girl do that to you?" I said and got ready to leave
"I don't know maybe I'm not good enough?" He said
"Aish don't say that , you have everything , a handsome face , a good house" I said exiting through the back door of the cafe
"They all just use me for money" he said
"Oh my god, gold diggers" I replied and we both started walking down the street
"Listen, if you wanna know wether a girl truly loves you , test her" I said and he had a confused look
"Like , maybe you can act like you don't have enough money for stuffs and see wether she is patient with things" I said and he slowly nodded in agreement
"Why didn't I think of that?" He said
"Your too good at giving advices but why don't you get into relationships?" He asked
"Well coaches don't play" I replied
"Oh well , you need to actually find someone who's worthy enough for you" he said and I nodded
"Not now , maybe later" I replied whining
"Whatever suits you" he said and we both laughed
Finally I reached home and threw myself on the bed , but before going to sleep I did all my nighttime routine and then laid in the bed in a comfortable position , ugh another hefty day tomorrow
