"Your old enough and it's the royal rule and you can't deny it" my mom said
Both my parents came to visit me without informing me
"But mom, I don't want to get married , it's gonna be a lot worse" I said whining
"Now jungkook stop acting like a kid and understand that this is life and you'll need a partner to look after you" my dad said and I rolled my eyes.
"Taehyung is enough, am I right?" I said looking at taehyung
He was about to say something but my mom gave him a death glare , so he just chucked himself to whatever he was about to say
"Taehyung's your assistant , he won't be there for you forever and plus he already have a girlfriend to look after" my mom said and soon all the maid started laughing and my cheek flushed in red with embarrassment.
"I'm not ready to have a family" I said frustrated, anger clearly showing on my face
"Look jungkook that depends on you but you need a life partner and no more discussion as you'll get married and that's final" my dad said stomping the table with his fists
I couldn't take it anymore and just went to my room , I'm so tired and already have a splitting headache after the job and my parents nagging made it even more worser
I just went to sleep in my work clothes
Next day
I was walking down the streets and I saw the girl who rejected me,she came up to me this time
"Hey jungkook" she said and I rolled my eyes and flashed a fake smile
"Remember me?" She asked me
"Yeah the boyfriend girl" I said and tried to walk away from her
"Wait , I'm really sorry about that" she said and i stopped walking
"Here" she said and gave me her number, why is she giving it to me now?
"No thanks , I'm late for work bye" i said denying her offer and just left.
She repeatedly called my name but I didn't even turn once and kept walking to my building
I reached the office and everyone stood up and greeted me
"Uhm sir , you can't be here" my office assistant said
"And why is that? You tryna blackmail me? Should I fire you?" I said out of frustration
"No no sir , your father said not to make you work for the next few weeks" he replied with shaky voice
"Well why?" I asked
"They said your getting married and you need rest" he added
"okay thanks for the info" I said as i held in my anger and frustration , he left
I packed my stuffs and left the office aggressively, why the hell is my parents against my decisions?
I called my driver and he arrived in no time
"Take me to some park" I said and he quietly nodded
We reached a beautiful park which was completely empty.
"Alright thanks for the ride , I'll call you later" i said and he took off
I stretched my arms and went to sit on the bench, I admired the beauty of the sea while sitting , this park was close to the shore so it was quiet peaceful
"No!!" I suddenly heard a girl scream
I looked around and spotted a girl in the distance talking on the phone
"YOU CANT DO THAT TO ME" she shouted
"What do you mean? I never st-
She stopped and checked her phone
"Hello?" She tried reaching the call
She dialed the number again and contacted
"Hey , you CANT HANG ON ME!! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?" She shouted and I closed my ears in annoyance
"YOU KNOW WHAT FUCK YOU TOO" she said and ended the call and sat next me
"Fucking retard" she murmured which was loud enough for me to hear
"Rough day?" I asked trying to make a convo
"Yea" she replied and this time I took the time to see her face and it turned out to be the cafe owner
"You again?" I asked confused
She looked at me with wide eye expression
"Ugh not you" she said in annoyance and rolled her eyes,She just let out a sigh and suddenly her ringtone interrupted the silence
"Hello?" She asked
"Mhm" she replied in humming tone
"Hm"
"Yea?"
"Alright"
"You know what?" She said
"Fuck you too bitch" she said and hung up and threw her phone in the sea
I was surprised by her actions , like she just literally threw an expensive phone in the freakin sea , is she out of her goddamn mind?.My mouth was left wide open after what she did
"Sorry if I annoyed you" she said
"No it's okay" i said sarcastically and she didn't quite catch it , soon the atmosphere became silent
"Ugh , to think about it , I gave him 3 freakin chances" she murmured which was loud enough for me to hear
Her phone interrupted the silent atmosphere again, damn how many phones she got?
