Mira's P.O.V
I woke up to see myself not in my house , I squinted my eyes and adjusted to see the surrounding more clearly so I can make out where the hell I am , finally I got a clear view and it was my old room, which is in my parent's palace
"Shit" I murmured and got out of the bed
I went to open the door but it was locked
"HELLO?" I slammed the door but no one came to my rescue
Great now I'm stuck , I went to the washroom to wash myself up and came back to see someone sitting on my bed
My soul almost left my body cause ,
One I'm a scaredy cat and two I'm deathly afraid of ghosts
"Yah Jin , you scared the living soul out of me" I said and he laughed
I sat next to him and then suddenly realized that this wasn't my home
"What am I doing here?" I asked him
"Well good thing you asked cause I came to answer that" he said
"Ugh don't tell me you're against me now" I said facepalming myself
"I'm not against you , your mom told me to bring you here since she's scared you would elope again" he said
"What in the world?" I shouted
"Marriage , you only have 5 days left" he said with a disappointment
"Jin help me out of this , i owe you big time"I said
"I really wished I could but-" before he could say anything
"He won't" someone interrupted us both
"Because I told him to and if he did , he would be in lock up" she said coldly
"Mom that's crazy , why are you doing this ?" I asked almost in the verge of crying
"For your own good" she said
"Oh you mean to follow the royal rule ? Isn't that what you want? Are you that greedy for the money?" Before I could say anything I felt a sharp stinging pain across my cheek, my mom slapped me
"I told you I'm doing this for your own good" she said angrily and left , while I stood there rubbing my cheeks to relief the stinging pain
My mom can be two different person , outside the palace she's the sweetest person but inside she'll be the person you wished you hadn't come across , Yes she is really mean
I sat next to jin who had been watching us the whole time
"I'm really sorry about that , it's my fault" I said
"Aish , it's fine and I'm not bothered" he said
"But my mom threatened you" I said
"You think my mom and dad would allow that? Absolutely not , your mom and my mom are best friends just like us , so there's no way in the world she would anything like that , she must've said that out of anger, don't take it personally" Jin said
It calmed me down a bit , he was right,
My mom wouldn't do something so cruel
"Well guess I have to follow what she says now" I said sighing
"Aw come on cheer up , let's make the most of it" he said and I gave him a weak smile
"What about my cafe?" I asked
"Uh , she made someone else in charge" he said and I nodded
"Oh , I hope he does his job" I said and let out a sigh , while staring at the blank wall infront of me not knowing what to do since I can't elope this time
"Come on let's go out" Jin said excitedly
"I'm not in the mood" I said
"Aww don't be a party pooper" he whined making a pouty face which I found it extremely cute and hard to deny
"Ugh alright" I said
"Let me get ready , wait" I said and he nodded ,
Time skip
We both currently finished riding all the rolled coaster here in this amusement park , it was Jin's idea to go to a amusement park , which I can't deny
"You should've seen your face" Jin said laughing and I rolled my eyes
I'm a big fan of roller coaster and I'm afraid of heights , so it's a win-win
"And you were screaming like a girl" I said and poked out my tongue
"Excuse me?" He said tapping my shoulder
"You're excused" I quickly said without looking back at who tapped my shoulder
"No , excuse me" he said tapping again and this time I angrily turned to face him and was shocked when I found it wasn't him
