'Just ash and bones': Lee Zoey mourns over the death of loved ones

A month had passed since her parents died. Moving on from the death of a loved one was easier said than done. She knew that now.
"Mom I'll be just fine", she said as her Mom saw her packing her stuff moving into her own space
"But honey the house is going to be empty if you leave"
"Dad!? A little help here?", Zoey asked and his dad laughed a little
"Honey she's not a baby anymore. Our little girl has grown to be a fine woman"
"She takes that after me", her mom sighed making them laugh
"I love you both so much" she said hugging the two of them.
Tears started flowing down her eyes looking at a happy picture of her and her family.
Taking in a deep breath she wiped away her tears and kept the picture in her bag.
Her cousin Nora was there to help her pack her stuff and move to Seoul.
"Zoe?", she squeezed her shoulder and Zoey looked up at her sniffling but managing to give her a smile.
"I miss them"
"It will get better?", she tried to make her feel better but Zoey laughed.
"You are the worst at consoling", Nora scoffed.
"I learnt from the best", she said flipping her hair making Zoey laugh, "now let's get this over with! We have flight to catch."
Just then Ghost her pup husky came and landed on Zoey's lap crawling onto her licking her face.
"No licking Ghost", she held her face and kissed him, "you know you make everything so much better right? Mommy loves you"
"So does your aunt! Now let us pack Ghost", Nora said and Ghost sat beside Zoey on her bed.

She was leaving behind a place which gave her everything. She took in a deep breath and let it out as she took her seat in the airplane.
"You are going to love Seoul", Nora said keeping her hand on hers and she smiled.
"To new beginnings", Nora raised her champagne flute at Zoey.
"To new beginnings", Zoey clinked her glass with Nora's and took a sip.
To new beginnings she thought looking outside at the clouds below the airplane.

"Welcome to Seoul", Nora said as they landed in Seoul.
Zoey looked around the beautiful sky. There was surely something in the air that calmed her down.
"Who's picking us up?", Zoey asked Nora.
"You'll see", she winked making Zoey roll her eyes.
They walked out to the gates and there he was. The elite cousin of the Elite Lee clan. Kunpimook Bhuwakul Bambam aka Bambam.
He had tons of fans for him at the airport standing in line gor him. He smiled and waved at them.
"There he is!", Nora said wrapping her arm around his and bringing him to Zoey.
"Bammie!", Zoey hugged him and he hugged her back, "Oh my god! The sensational Bambam!", she gasped seeing him there.
"Welcome back Zoey!", he said looking at her.
"Its been forever!", she said smiling at him.
"Let's go!", he said escorting both of them towards the car.
"So where are we going first Zoe?", Bam asked her.
"The Penthouse"
"You're gonna stay at the penthouse?", Nora gave her a quizzical look.
"I might as well. I got it reasy before coning here.", she shrugged.
"I thought you were going to stay with me"
"You know I love my own space Nora "
"Yeah yeah whatever!", Bam and Zoey laughed.

They went to her penthouse and everything was exactly how Zoey expected it to be.
Full height cielings, bay windows showing the view of the city, letting in the daylight and a couch in front of it. Comfortable and cozy and airy. Subtle colors giving her peace of mind.
"Wow Zoe you got this all done all the way from LA?", Nora was in awe of the well done interior of the place she winked at her.
"This place is the bomb girl!", Bam said as they entered the place.
"Welcome to our new house Ghost", she said letting him run around the house.
"Make yourselves comfortable guys. I'll get us a drink", she made her way towards the kitchen and opened the inbuilt wine cellar on the wall.
She took put a bottle of Merlot and three wine glasses.
"Here you go", she handed them the wine.
"How are you?", Bam asked as he sat.
"It'll take some time to heal", Zoe said giving a sad smile, "but I'm doing fine. Thanks for asking"
"No worries. Its just- It happened all of a sudden-"
"It okay Bam. Thank you for coming here and being here for me"
"We are a family and this is what family does", Nora kept her hand on hers and she smiled.
"Toast to a brand new beginning", Bam raised his glass and the three of them clinked their glasses.
"That's what I said", Nora winked and they spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing.
Family away from family.
