Chapter-4: Page

Zoey was sprinting towards Nora's office when she bumped into someone making her land on the cold hard floor

"Zoey", she opened her eyes at the mention of her name

"Jinyoung", he extended his hand which she gladly took while standing up

"I'm sorry i wasn't looking", she immediately replied

"Neither was i, so it's even", his eyes crinkled at the end as a smile spread on his face.

She nodded her feet tapping on the floor impatiently, "What are you doing here?"

"Nora's dad had some work documents with her just taking it with me", he waved some papers at Zoey and she nodded again, "And i see you're in a hurry."

She gave him an apologetic smile, "I really have to see Nora and I'm actually very late. I'll catch up with you later."

Her feet moved on its own when Jinyoung interrupted her once again, "Meet me for lunch?"

Not knowing how to respond to the sudden request she nodded once again, "Okay. Just text me the time and place."

Not waiting for his response she dashed straight to her office.

"Everyone knows about your late night rendezvous", Jackson's voice stopped her at the door

Should i interrupted them or-

"I tell you everything Jackson and when i say I've nothing to do with that smart ass Jaebum then i think you should believe me", Nora sharply said.

Should i enjoy the show?

Smiling a little she decides to enjoy the little show.

"Ah!! Then don't be so defensive", she could hear the mockery in his tone

She was waiting for Nora's witty comeback but her phone decided to play against the rules.

"Fuck", She muttered searching for her phone when Nora's office opened.

"The one you've been waiting for is eavesdropping", with no hint of emotion in his voice Zoey pushed him and entered the office.

"Hey!"

"Let's get straight to the point here", Nora smiled sweetly at Zoey and instructed her to come closer.

"I want you to go on a with date Jackson", both Jackson and Zoey gasped in surprise and Nora took it as a good sign.

"What?"

"No"

"Just hear me out", for someone who always had the prettiest smile on her face she was quite scary when her words went unheard.

"It's for you and also there will be people of your interest. This is once in a lifetime opportunity for you Zoey. Grab it", Nora was now grabbing her hands with hope, reluctantly she pulled her hands away.

"Why can't you go with him?", her phone buzzed twice, annoyed she looked at the messages from Jinyoung.

"Oh no no sweetheart. I don't want to spark any dating rumours with him", she raised her hands in defence

"And its okay for me?", she shook her head in disbelief while placing her phone in her back pocket.

"Harvey Grayson will be there", she had a smug look on her face but it was nothing compared to the look on Zoey's face.

"You're joking right?", her eyes shone with excitement.

"I'll give you Jackson's number and he'll tell you everything about the event", Zoey was smitten by thought of meeting him so all she did was agree to whatever Nora had to say.
