Chapter-6: Be My Girl

Nora was laying on her bed in her room staring blankly at the ceiling thinking about what happened back the office.

His touch felt surreal. Never in my life have I ever felt this way before
She thought touching her lips.

I like you too
It kept replaying in her mind.

So that means we both like each other?
she couldn't stop smiling.

Just then her phone vibrated.

Jb

Unknowingly a smile spread across her face

"I'm waiting outside. Come out. We are going for dinner"

"WHAT?", she got up and stared at her phone screen.

Then looked out of the window. His car was parked there.

Crouching she tried to make her way to the other side

"I already saw you. Come on!" awkwardly standing up from her precious position she looked at him from her window he waved at her.

Okay Nora get yourself together.
She took a deep breath and went outside.

Jb saw her coming out of her house and got out of the car and walked towards her.

"Hey there", he said snaking his hands around her waist pulling her close.

Nora's heart stopped and she looked at him dumbfounded.

"What?", he asked raising his eyebrows

"What are you doing?"

"Trying to be romantic"

"Why?"

"Because we like each other", he shrugged pulling her close closing the distance between them. She rested her hands on his chest.

He lightly pecked her cheeks and she smiled, flustered by the sudden contact.

"C'mon let's go for dinner", he said holding her hand in his and walking towards the car.

"What do you want to eat?", Nora pouted her lips while thinking.

"Dunkin Donuts?"

"Music to my ears", he said making her laugh.

"Let's go", he drove off.

"I am starving", Nora groaned as they reached their destination.

"What do you want?"

"Cheese fries, chocolate shake, Double cheeseburger"

"So cheesy", he said scrunching his eyebrows and she went to get them a table.

Jb brought their order after ten minutes.

"There you go", he said sitting on his seat placing the tray on the table.

"Come to mama baby", Nora said rubbing her hands together and licking her lips.

"Oooh", she moaned taking a bite of her cheeseburger.

"That's exactly how you moaned that night", he winked at her and she choked on her food making him laugh out loud.

Nora glared at him but he just kept laughing.

"So I give you as much pleasure as food does. I'm proud of myself"

"This is better than you can ever be"

"Don't challenge me"

"There's no need to challenge it. I know it."

"Your offer is tempting me"
