Chapter-13: Nobody Knows

"Zoey, Zoey thank you so much for this!", the look on Mrs. Lee made everything worth her while.

"I have been wanting to thank you for all that you have done for me.",she said while giving her a warm smile and Mrs. Lee reciprocated.

"This is the best", Nora slinged her arm around Zoey. Her eyes shimmered with excitement and Zoey was more than satisfied with the reactions.

"Of course its the best.", Bam suddenly appeared behind them making Nora swat him but he dodged her hit with a smirk on his face.

"Nothing but the best from Zoe", Bam slightly nudged her shoulder making her giggle.

"Youngjae was a great help", Zoey suddenly added and Nora flipped her hair dramatically.

Nora looked around with admiration almost forgetting her purpose of roaming around.

"Are you smitten by the grandeur of the place or are you looking for someone?", Nora's eyes landed on Jackson who walked towards her dressed in an all black suit.

"Both actually."

Her statement made him pout a little.

"And I thought my girlfriend's work made you go insane."

Nora laughed lightly, "The one she made crazy is standing in front of me", she lightly punched him and he dramatically took a step back and bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry", Jackson turned around.

The figure turned around and momentarily froze when he looked at Jackson.

"Jackson."

"Yugyeom.", he curtly addressed.

Yugyeom's eyes landed on Nora.

"Hey Nora.", he said putting his hands inside the pocket of his pants.

"Hi."

The three of them looked at each other awkwardly. Before her eyes landed on the one she had been looking for.

"It was nice meeting you two but I've to go. See you later", she dashed from the scene and smiled wildly at Jb.

"My hero!", she wrapped her arm around him as he gave her a confused look.

"Dramatic as ever!", he said rolling his eyes but she pecked his lips.

"And finally I found you", Jackson lovingly wrapped his arms around Zoey's waist from the back.

She turned around coming face to face with a smiley Jackson.

"You seem happy.", she stated.

"Happy to see you", he responded while she snaked her arms around his neck.

"I'm happy to see you too."

"We've officially switched roles", he said making her giggle, "You look beautiful tonight", Jackson said.

"You don't look so bad yourself", she said pouting and he pulled her closer, "You do know we are at a public event right?"

"I don't care", he whispered against her lips.

"Someone's in the mood",she said teasing him.

"Oh baby don't try me", his hands went down her waist to her butt, giving them a light squeeze which made her smile.

"Uh-huh?", they were about to kiss when a voice interrupted their moment.

"Zoey!", Youngjae's voice made their small moment end.
