Chapter-10 Look

"Hey", Nora and Jb said as they walked inside Jackson's home.

"How's Zoey?", Nora asked placing the food on the table in the living room.

"She's fine. Although she's still in bed", Jackson said, "she can't find her necklace", he took out a water bottle from the fridge in the kitchen.

"Was it that important?", Jb asked clueless.

"Her mom gave it to her", Nora told Jb hitting his arm.

"Ow", he said rubbing his arm.

"I'm gonna go see her", Nora went in Jackson's room and saw her laying in the bed with covers on her face.

Sitting down next to Zoey she contemplated on what to say.

"You don't have to say anything Nora", Zoey said from under the covers startling Nora a little.

"How did you know it was me?"

"You were sitting so awkwardly I could tell it was you", Zoey said getting up and facing Nora.

"How are you?"

"I'm fine"

"Jackson told me you lost the necklace", Nora said and Zoey touched her bare neck.

"Mom gave it to me", she said staring into blank space.

"I'm sorry", Nora said taking her hand in hers.

"Stop feeling sorry Nora. That word is annoying"

"I'm sorrrrrr-", Nora was about to say it but stopped, making Zoey laugh.

"There's that smile I missed", Jackson said coming in the room.

"Hi", Zoey smiled as he made his way towards her and bent to kiss her.

"How are you feeling?"

"Better now that you are here", she said pushing his hair back from his forehead.

"Okay lovebirds", Nora intervened making them laugh.

They went outside to the living room.

"Hey Zoey, how are you?", Jb asked.

"How do I look?"

"You do seem fine", he said and she shrugged.

"Let's do something tonight!", she said with enthusiasm all of a sudden.

"Not another party. No!", Jb sighed from behind her and she tgrew a pillow at him.

"No Nora", Zoey dismissed her.

"I just want to go back home and relax with Ghost", Zoey said leaning her head on Jackson's shoulder.

"But-"

"I'm not in the mood for a party"

"I have to go down the studio as well", Jackson  said rubbing his hand up and down Zoey's arm.

"Dude but-"

"Oh I have to go home, my mom needs me", Jb said checking his phone, "bye babe", he quickly kissed the side of her head and left.

"I'll drop you home on my way to studio", Jackson suggested and Zoey nodded.

"Okay"

"Screw you guys!", Nora huffed in annoyance and left.  

"I'll drop you home", Jackson looked at Zoey and kissed her, "not that I want you to go", he kissed her again.

"Jack-", Zoey moaned as he climbed on top of her on the couch. Sucking and biting her neck.
