Chapter 25: Poison

Zoey was sitting outside the Operation Theater. She had a cup of hot coffee which she was holding with both her hands. She took a deep breath as she waited for Nora's family to arrive.

"Zoey", Mr. & Mrs. Kang came running towards her followed by Bambam and Yugyeom.

"Where is she? is she okay? Are you fine?", she asked her.

"I am fine. Nora is still in the OT."

"What the hell happened?", Bambam asked.

"Youngjae was stalking Nora and he-"

"He what?", Yugyeom was wide eyed.

Zoey told them all the events of the day. How Youngjae was stalking Nora and was so obsessed with her that he killed Jb and Jackson. Zoey's eyes welled up with tears as she told them everything.

"Oh my god"

"He shot himself?"

"And then Nora fainted and we brought her here"

After almost two hours the doctor came out and they all immediately stood up.

"Doctor, how is she?"

"I am sorry but she has suffered a miscarriage", Mrs. Kang  gasped, "I am really sorry."

Oh my god! This will kill Nora. Zoey thought when the doctor told her.

"Can I see her?"

"Yes you may. She is going to need you now more than ever.", the doctor said and left.

Zoey went inside to see a distraught Nora staring blankly ahead.

"Hey", she said sitting beside her.

"I lost my baby", Nora said with a soulless voice.

"I lost my baby. I lost the love of my life. I have lost everything.", she looked at Zoey.

"I am sorry Nora"

"And you know what the worst part of it all is?", she looked at Zoey, "You"

"Nora-"

"Don't take my name!", she shouted and Zoey flinched. 

"You are the root cause of all problems! You killed Jb and you killed Jackson and you killed my baby!"

"I-"
"You disgust me Zoey. Ever since you came into our lives nothing good ga ever happened! You ryined our lives! You-", Nora's voice cracked.

Zoey's eyes brimmed with tears as she geard Nora say those things.

"I am going to end this once and for all", Nora said getting up from the bed.

"Nora what are you doing?", Zoey asked her bewildered.

"What I should've done way back", she said picking up a spleen from the table and walked towards Zoey, "You do not deserve to live."

"Nora please calm down.", Zoey said seeing the spleen in her hand.

"Do not take my name you filthy bitch", Nora moved towards Zoey and scraped her arm making it bleed.

Zoey hissed.

"Why don't you just fucking die!", Nora was about to make another hit when Jinyoung reached just in time with the doctor and held her back.

"Stop it Nora", he said locking her arms behind her making the spleen fall off her hand. 

"Get off me Jinyoung. I will finish her", she said fighting to get out of his grip.

"Calm down Nora"
