Monsters

She remembers when she was little people always told her to watch for monsters under her bed and in her closet, they told her have a nightlight to keep the monsters out of your closet and keep the underneath of your bed clean so monster couldn't hide there. Those were the monsters she feared at a young age. They always told her she'd grow out of that fear and she wouldn't be scared of those monsters anymore, they were right she doesn't fear the monsters under her bed or the ones hiding in her closet, no, she fears the monsters in her head and her nightmares, they never told her how to keep the monsters from her head. She thinks back to the old monsters she feared and laughs, oh how she wishes she could get them back, those monsters were nothing to fear compared to the ones she fears now, She does her best to keep them quiet but the more she try's the louder they get, she knows that the  monsters feed on her fear, and she truly does fear them because she doesn't know if  she's strong enough to fight them forever, and if that  day ever comes and the monsters win she knows that it will be the end of her life.
