Too Much To Ask?

Don't you people understand.

I don't want a knight in shining armor.

I don't want someone that will only spend money on me.

I don't want someone that wants to show me off.

I don't want someone to try and change me.

I don't want someone to try and fix me.

I want someone who understands that I have issues.

I want someone who understands I don't like to be touched.

I want someone who understands it will take time for me to stop stiffening up each time they hold my hand or hug me.

I want someone who will understand that I get uncomfortable when I'm complemented.

I want someone who understands that I have breakdowns.

I want someone who understands it will take time with me.

I want someone who will sit on the other side of the door after I shut them out.

I want someone who will understands and still be there after I push them away in fear.

I want someone who will hold me tight when I'm breaking.

I want someone who will understand that there will be days I question everything about the relationship.

I want someone who will understand that it doesn't mean that I don't care.

I want someone who will understand that's just part of my issues.

I want someone who will not try to fix me.

But someone who understands that I am broken and that's okay.

I want someone who just loves me for me no matter what.

Is that too much to ask?
