Silence

They throw her in a room and lock the door.

The room is quiet not a sound to be heard.

She begins to panic, she doesn't like silence.

With silence comes bad things.

She bangs on the door begging them to let her out.

All she gets back is silence.

Oh how she hates them for this.

She sits in the middle of the floor.

Hands pressed tight against her ears.

She can hear them all so loud now.

When there's silence she can't ignore the thoughts and voices.

The horrible things they say to her, and the horrible thoughts she has.

Please just make it stop she begs as tears form in her eyes.

She knows they're watching her, why were they doing this to her?

She lets out a shaking breath, and closes her eyes as the tears begin to fall down her face.

All they see is her sitting in a silent room crying.

But what she's hearing is anything but silence.

Oh how she hates the silence.

A/N I don't know about anyone else but I hate silence, when it's silent my anxiety spikes up and I'm left alone with my thoughts, and trust me that's not a good thing. I always have some kind of noise going but it's usually always music. Anyway thanks for reading my poems and I hope you enjoyed it. This poem booklet is at over 600 reads and trust me I never thought I'd see that I honestly didn't think this booklet would go over 200 reads if even that lol. Anyway thanks and and make love.
