She feels like she's drowning
They tell her you can't feel like you're drowning you're not in any water, you can only drown in water.
If only they saw how her thoughts are drowning her.
If only they saw how she's drowning in her fears and doubt.
If only they saw how all her past mistakes come back to her at once, making her feel like she's gasping for air to stay alive.
If only they saw how much she struggles to keep her head about everything.
If only they saw how much she's slowly drowning in her own life.
She feels like she's drowning but it's okay, because like they said you can only drown in water, right?
