"I'm new in town, could you give me directions to your heart?"

"Do you like sailing? Because I'd ship you and me together."
I rolled my eyes at his pickup line, even though a smile formed on my lips at the same time. "You already used that one, Herron."
I glanced at him as he leaned against the lockers beside me, waiting for me to finish getting my books.
He shrugged, "whoops."
Then he shot me his famous grin.I closed my locker, slinging my bag around my shoulder. We switched places and he opened his own locker, also grabbing his books.
"Are you sure you're not running out of pick up lines?" I asked him, eyes twinkling teasingly.
It's something that he had done every morning for the past two weeks, and I had grown used to it. I even enjoyed it, maybe, a little, as his cheesy lines always caused a smile to form on my face. After that I would walk him to his class, even though I was sure he had learned his way around the school by now.
"Hm," he looked back at me, biting his bottom lip. "Aren't you tired, though?"
I frowned at his sudden question.
" 'Cause you've been running through my mind all day."
Another eye roll happened, but I threw my head back in a chuckle. "Lucky for me the day has just started."
He shot me a joking glare as he shut his locker. "Dang, Princess, next time just accept my pickup lines instead of ruining them."
"Then come up with better ones, Zachary Dean," I remarked, making him gasp and grab towards his heart dramatically.
"How dare you, my pick up lines are the best."
I nudged his side with my elbow, which he returned as we walked to Biology together.
There, I sat down next to Lexa as he took place next to Jackson, another lacrosse player from his team.
Throughout class, I would glance at him and sometimes I would catch him glancing back. Then we would both look away at the same time, biting our lips smiling with blushes creeping onto our cheeks.

"Can I have a Caramel Frappuccino, with fifteen pumps of caramel sauce, 2% milk, uh, 50 gram chocolate powder, extra whipped cream, white chocolate curls, coconut flakes and no water please. Oh, and cinnamon sugar."
I turned around right away at the sound of his voice. I smiled, as I had been waiting for what kind of ridiculous order he was going to come up with this time.
This was another thing he had made a habit of.
I worked at Starbucks during the weekends, and the past two Saturday's he had showed up during my shift to ask me for the stupidest orders ever.
I didn't know why he did it, and I strongly wondered what the reason behind it was.
I mean, I was almost sure he had other stuff to do and I was pretty certain he didn't even like coffee, since he always pulled a face when he took a sip from his drink.
