"...es el fin."

The classroom was filled with the sound of people clapping their hands together as Zach finished his presentation.

He had absolutely nailed it, not a single stutter throughout his speech.

"You did amazing," I smiled, still applauding as he sat back down at his desk in front of mine.

He shrugged slightly, the right corner of his mouth twitched up. "I mean, it wasn't perfect bu-"

"Oh hush it, you perfectionist, you did great," I cut him off, a chuckle falling over his lips as I did so.

As the bell rang and everyone got up from their seats, the Spanish teacher called him back.

I wondered what it was about while Lexa and I exited the classroom and walked down the hallway together, all the different smells of food entering our noses, making both of our stomachs growl at the same time.

"How are you and lover boy back there?" Lexa asked as our chuckles quieted down. "I've heard you've been spending a lot of time at his place lately."

A smile and an evident blush formed on my face at her words. The smile only grew when I thought back to the day before and I bit my lip, remembering the feeling of his on mine.

"We're good," I answered her, smiling like an idiot.

That made her raise her eyebrows at me as she looked at me sideways. "How good is good?"

"Um," I looked back at her, expecting her to freak out. "We kissed."

Instead, her mouth dropped open in a smile. "Really?"

My eyes lit up at her reaction and I nodded, not hiding my enthusiasm this time.

"Oh boy, does he need to be careful," she said with twinkling eyes, making me look at her questioningly. "If he hurts you, in any way, he's gonna be thrown to the wolves. Literally."

I laughed at her words and she joined in. She was right though. There would be five werewolves coming after him and I knew that.

"How are you and blondie?" I asked her, grinning.

The same bright smile appeared on her lips at the mention of her boyfriend. "Really really good," she said happily.

"Oh, speaking of the devil," I grinned more as I spotted him waiting for her by the cafeteria entrance.

She followed my gaze, her face lighting up as her eyes landed on him.

Corbyn sensed us coming and looked up, his hand lifting up in a wave as his eyes landed on us.

"I'm going to grab my books, I'll see you there," I told her, waving back at Corbyn. Lexa nodded, making her way over to him.

I smiled as I watched him greet her with a kiss on the cheek, before continuing making my way down the hall.

Coming to a stop at my locker, I switched my books for the upcoming classes I had after lunch break.
