Chapter 14 {R}

My head snapped to the side, only to see Zach pinning Jackson against the lockers and punching him in the face.

Jackson grabbed towards his own nose, blood flooding out of it, as Peter pulled Zach off of him.

When he realised he was free, Jackson raised his fist and put all his strength into punching Zach.

Even though Jackson's fist connected harshly with his cheekbone, he barely flinched.

As Jackson went to hit him again, while Peter kept Zach's arms behind his back, he ducked right in time, causing Jackson's fist to connect with Peter's jaw.

He stumbled back, completely out of balance, which gave Zach the chance to step out of his grip. He turned around, kicking Peter's legs from underneath him and causing him to slam with his back on the ground.

Zach had figured it all out, and spun around to Jackson again before he could comprehend it. He launched forward, his fist knocking the oxygen out of Jackson's lungs as he punched him in the stomach.

Zach didn't have any trouble with fighting them both at the same time, avoiding their punches and aiming his at exactly the right spots.

People started forming a crowd around them, eager to see what was going on.

I slammed my locker shut, starting to make my way over to them as well. Only my intentions weren't to watch them fight, but to stop them.

Lexa, who was coming from behind the three fighting guys, pushed herself past the people and approached me. As she reached me she grabbed my arm, making me stop.

"Let him kick their asses," she told me firmly to my surprise.

I looked from her and back to the scene, confused as though why she hadn't stepped in yet. "What, why?"

Her tone was laced with anger. "They more than deserved it," she stated coldly.

A frown formed on my face, her tone only making me more confused. I looked back at them, still having no idea what was going on. As I followed the fight, the smell of blood entered my nose, which came from Jackson's broken nose and Peter's busted lip.

Zach stopped, chest rising and falling as he breathed heavily.

I had known he could get angry, but I had never seen him like this.

He hovered over the pair and  stared down at them as they laid on the ground, more than defeated.

"Did I make myself clear?" I heard him ask them sharply.

He watched them struggling to stand up. Once back on their feet, they looked him dead in the eyes and he gave them an even colder stare back, head lifted up high. Then they turned around and walked away, entering the boys locker room, their ego not being the only thing that had got beaten up.

Zach grabbed his stuff from the ground and pushed through the people that were still gathered around him. I saw him pass a shocked Jack and Daniel, after that I couldn't see where he went.

My brother and best friend approached us, giving each other wide-eyed looks before turning to us.

"What the heck was that all about?" Jack asked, looking at me.
